And at SG, who is moving the needle for you fa wise that you could actually get? Klay Thompson isn't signing with Philly, and there are no other real elite 2 guards that will be available that soon, and again, if they focused on the wing in the draft, the idea is to develop those guys, not sign overpriced fas to take their minutes.

You can't just say "oh they should spend money that's not realistic" without assessing the situation. I'd much rather the CPU logic work this way than to have teams not assess their roster and goals and act accordingly.
I believe the 76ers are modeling the building of there team as the Thunder did. I read somewhere a former Thunder suit signed with another team to help transform that team. They build their team by giving their rookies more time to play and grow together. 2k has made great strides in cpu logic. 5 years ago this wouldn't haven't even been thought of.

I'm certain I'm off the older crowd on these forums and a significant amount of the complaints I'm hearing is about the game being broken in certain areas. And indeed, there are glitches that are evident. I quirk in IT and some glitches arise even after multiple hours of testing. No two people who bought the game, plays it the same way. To appease the multitude, 2k has implemented control and customization into the hands of each user. We are able to put our own face in the game. Are we not realizing the magnitude of that achievement.

I've been playing since 2k(1). I remember when sweat was introduced in 2k6. And now we're here. The problem comes in when pale don't like change. When the old thing that they loved and relied on is no longer there, the game becomes broken. This is simply not the case. Put it like this, it took my mother a long time to adapt to a phone without physical buttons. So the new technology that didn't work as well as the old technology was broken because when she pressed a button on her old phone it worked.

You wouldn't consider ramping up progression rate cheating?

nope, because its not some magical boost that I gave to my players, its earned for how they played during that season.

Its not "hey I want you to be better, let me magically give you +5 to mid range shooting", its "wow you had a good season from the field and now your attributes have increased"

or "hey I want you to become a better shooter, go to camp or do some training and ill wait for you to get where I want you to be"

Re: NBA 2K15 Official MyLEAGUE Thread

Quick question for anyone with an answer. So I'm playing all my games in my MyLEAGUE (See my Celtics Association below), but I want to keep things as realistic as possible so during them I'm having the coach make substitutions based off rotational minutes.

Anyways, being the Celtics, as you know, they have 2 players, Avery Bradley and Marcus Smart, who can play both the PG & SG positions. However, with substitutions set to auto, Smart always comes in behind Rondo and only plays point guard. As of right now, Rondo is only playing 30 minutes a game, despite my rotation having him listed at 39. This is likely due to Marcus Smart also needing to play a decent amount of minutes and with them two splitting it at PG there's no more minutes to go around. Is there anyway to automatically have Smart, or Bradley in some cases, go to SG & PG respectively to adhere to the rotational minutes?

So after tinkering around with a couple MyLeagues, I think I found one I feel good with. I'm in Year 3 with the Brooklyn Nets. Here's a quick recap of my roster and some moves I've made, then I'll make another post about my first game.

                      Notable Previous Year Moves

                      - Brooklyn drafts SF Melvin James out of Miami (FL) with the fifth pick of the first round in the 2015 NBA Draft.
                      - Brooklyn drafts C Antonio Hamilton out of George Washington with the seventh pick of the second round in the 2015 NBA Draft.
                      - Brooklyn trades C Brook Lopez and a 2016 first-round pick to Washington for SG Bradley Beal.

                      - Brooklyn re-signs Joe Johnson to a one-year, $6.25M deal.
                      - Brooklyn drafts PG Evan Baker out of Purdue with the 13th pick of the second round.
                      - Brooklyn picks up second-year contract option on last year's second-round pick, Antonio Hamilton.
                      - PF Jared Sullinger agrees to a three-year, $30.06M deal with Brooklyn.
                      - PG Brandon Jennings agrees to a four-year, $45.60M deal with Brooklyn.
                      - SF P.J. Tucker agrees to a two-year, $6.93M deal with Brooklyn.
                      - PG Nate Robinson agrees to a one-year, $2.30M deal with Brooklyn.

Well in that season, both teams were going to miss the playoffs. I didn't want to pay re-sign Lopez, but wanted value for him. My draft pick that I sent to Washington ended up being #4 overall. Also, the Wizards had already traded Gortat and signed Wesley Matthews.

Maybe they wouldn't get rid of Beal in either case, but I felt like my reasoning was pretty good.

I put the progression rate up a little but also made the draft calss quality a bit lower. I felt like there were too many starter or star ready players in the average default draft but I am allowing for guys to emerge with a couple of years in the league to maybe approach that level, if that makes sense.

Hey Leftos can we please get an option in MyLeague when only controlling one team to quit that team and take control of another ? Alof of players don't want to control all teams but atill have the option to switch to another team to take controll off.
