Those rebounds are crazy. When I first glanced at that I was like "the hell is this guy talking about? He's only got points and blocks". Cause I saw your points/rebounds being there I thought it was minutes/points lolComment

Woohoo, second half of the season is going really well. I think the first half was glitched because I wasn't unlocking any badges. But now in the second half, I've unlocked three badges in 2 games hehe. Posterizer, Eraser, and Lob City Passer (which is odd, I only throw like one lob a game).
Currently on the Thunder, our record is 60-5! I've only been playing games that are worth max VC, I have no idea how the team is playing so great. I play on Superstar sim and lost 2 of those 5 losses in actual play.Comment

So, the Bulls (my team) just traded DeMar DeRozan for Paul Millsap(81 ovr) and some generated character with an 82 overall. DeMar was like an 84, so I think that works out wellComment

In my 1st game of my 3rd season with my new team Hornets, was a complete blowout over the Pelicans. Besides having 5 blocks, It was my best defensive game by holding Anthony Davis to just 7 points. If that game was a preview of this season, then it was a smart decision to pick them. Each Starter had over 13 points and shot the ball efficiently and played good defense. With the bucks, we usually give up 40-50+points a game just to the bigs combined. I think we only gave up around 20+ total to the bigs.
Only problem is that we don't have a backup PG besides a drafted low rated one. But luckily Stephenson can play point.Comment

In theory, you'd say this is a pretty solid way of handling it. Let me tell you why it isn't:
I'm playing on Superstar level (because HOF is the most broken-a** game mode since the insane level on Dead Souls) and I have maxed out my defensive stats. I have an A+ perimeter defence rating; perimeter lockdown defender; pickpocket; pass interceptor; eraser; tenacious rebounder; and post lockdown defender. I am a 6'8" shooting guard with 15 upgrade points in athlete, using the 5-point boost for fifty games as well.
When I'm switched to SF in games against the Cavs, I can stay with LBJ all the way to the rim most times, before he steps back, shrugs off my block attempt, and knocks down a jumper. Or gets in front of me for an easy lay-up. Or gets fouled. Or, just when I think I'm about to block him, kicks it out to a wide open (how!?) man on the three-point line. I have MAX defence stats and it does not matter a damn.
So, with that in mind, would I put a 200-pound 6'3" shooting guard with a B+ perimeter defence rating on LBJ, as opposed to a 6'7" 240-pound small forward with a D rating? Hell no. Because whatever chance you have against LeBron (who, ironically, doesn't embrace his LeBrick nickname in 2K) the CPU makes a complete balls of.
You're not going to stop LeBron no matter what rating you have. Take it from someone who's tried, tried, and tried again. And because of that, I'd rather my B+ defence-rated player on another Cav to force them into bad shots, because LBJ can't win on his own.Comment

I've seen them miss.. by cheating off my guy and trying to double the shot.. after a couple of 2K's it got easier to predict WHEN they were going to do this.. I try to only do it when my guy is relatively close so I don't give up an open shot .. that's not to say they don't make the 1 on 1 fades almost every time. I haven't figured out why MY team's big men instead of making it throw the ball off the side of the backboard at times on the same move.
Something funny happened last night with Wiggins.. he saved a ball in the corner.. stood there like the Statue of Liberty a second.. and then threw it out of bounds baseline into the stands.. with nobody around him, for a turnoverView Through My Lens sports photography

Last game of rookie season with Wolves is against OKC.. what are the chances OKC plays it like the REAL NBA and the OKC starters sit most of the game with their playoff position set? I could wish I guess..
It turns out.. THIS is one of *THOSE* effed up games.. I went out with 1:30 left in the first.. tied at 23.. I come in 9:23 left in the 2nd.. down 36-23.. they haven't scored in 4 minutes and we're getting it handed to us again.. 2K at it's best.. and looking at the stats.. OKC scored 9 in the 1:23 after I subbed out to end the 1st even.. sheesh
Another MAYBE chance at the first triple double... down 58-45 at the half.. the TEAM is shooting 42%.. to OKC's 54%.. My SG on the other hand is 7 of 9.. 11 boards.. 7 offensive.. maybe the rebounding badge is a good thing even though the team blows.. 11 boards and 5 assists, another A+ half with the team getting rocked
Never mind the triple double aspirations.. my teammates on the Wolves won't shoot from ME in the second half.. like I'm not supposed to get a triple double.. only got 1 of the 5 needed assists in the second half so ended with 28 pts 17 boards 6 assists.. shot 10 of 15 and 8/10 free throws while LOSING 109-90.. so much for being tied at 23 in the first when I sat.. I got it to 7 at one point in the third then the bottom fell out, as usual.
In *THIS* game the Wolves shot all of 38%.. so they made 22 of 69 shots that I DIDN'T take.. in other words a .318 shooting % for the teamLast edited by DHMN69; 10-22-2014, 10:51 PM.View Through My Lens sports photography
