Seroiusly why can't i do dunk in people I have max athletism and 95 standing and driving dunk? Whenever I drive to the basket my guy always does a layup even when there is only one defender once he gets withing five feet of me my guy flops the dunk it's super annoying considering how hard it is for him to actually do it since he seems to only want to attempt layups despite my layup being only a 80

It easier to get on a lower difficulty. Not sure but I think getting regular dunk no contact helps increase your tendency to dunk more often. But I don't think the tendency moves at all.

I got this game for Christmas, and my career progress has been very slow with the PSN issues. With that said, I'm loving this mode! Mycareer has been my favorite part of previous NBA 2K games on xbox, and I was super excited to get it started on the next gen.
I created a 6'4" point guard from Bradley University. He is the starting point guard for the King, and is rated 72 at the moment. He's got decent dribble moves to get to the rim, and has an ok jump shot. His passing needs serious improving, but that's in the works. When it's all said and done, I want him to be like Jason Kidd or Rajon Rondo. Put up about 15/10/13 every night.

You should of increased his athlete and inside scoring if you wanted to be like Rondo and Kidd. I would recommend increasing his Playmaking and defense. If you get them to about 17-19 you will earn Floor General and Defensive Anchor. This would help you even more on the assist and defensive side.

But keep playing and you will be there soon.

It's not Durant or LeBron who ALWAYS, without exception, shoot a billion percent from the floor and score 40+ points every time I play them. And I know according to TS% he's an uber-efficient player, but that's because he shoots a ton of FTs. But it's James Harden who, in real life, shoots 45% or below from the floor and 34%-37% from three who always, always, always makes every BS shot he throws up. I thought if anyone really just exploited the CPU cheese and did that crap it'd be Durant since, you know, he's a better shooter and more efficient scorer than Harden and he's the cover boy.

I'm to game 7 in the WCF against the Rockets, now, and Harden probably has more made contested 18+ footers at the end of the shotclock in the series than my starting guards have total made FGs.

I played Harden he didn't get a lot of shots up but he did get to the FT(25) line a lot almost as much as LeBron did(33) when I played the Cavs. Harden ended up scoring 44 on 5-9 from 3 and 7-15 from the field. The worst game of "Where did THAT come from?" shooting/scoring was from an aging Aaron Afflalo rated 73 at the time; he scored 37 on 6-8 from 3, 11-16 from the field and 9-12 from the FT line. Usually I'm able to hold scorers under their average but every now and then players go off, like in a game in 2k11 when Melo scored 73 on me(I scored 84) in a 3OT 130+ to 130+ game. I think the most I've allowed my matchup to score in 2k15 was 52 to LeBron.

Got my signature shoe on my MJ account and now stuck with one pair for home and away. I'm not the best shoe creator from scratch.

I hate all these charges I get. I have yet to see a blocking foul get called when I drive. I drive and the person in front of me backs up also and try to guard me for a second, then they set up for the charge ans gets it. I just got a charge when all I did was walk the ball to the paint and passed it off to my Center. That all I get when I drive. On top of that 7-10 there is no contact with these so called charges.

Also dislike how they make your player flop when someone drives at the arc. It happens to me so much. I don't even move and he flops randomly.

How do you stopp your player from just loosing the ball on contact dunks? With my 6'10 SF I'm missing almost all of my contact dunks when I should be making them. The reason is because my players either looses the ball or throw the ball at the backboard on a contact dunk. I get the animation but don't finish. I have a 89 dunk and I blow so many dunks it insane.

My SG has a 87 and probably only blew 1-2 contact dunks. I wonder if it because he is too tall.

I agree that you have to really patient and let those guys do what they do best. For me, Kobe has done a great job shooting threes, he's averaging around 40 % while he shoots around 7-8 per game. Nick Young is great at shooting threes after cutting plays, too bad my Lakers traded him for Foye (who got injured the first game he played). I average 2.2 TO per game as well, unfortunately I don't average as many assists as you do, just 7.6. What difficulty you play on?

Both Kobe & Nick Young run off cut screens for me and I get the to shoot every time that's how come I got them both to average such high scoring. It's easy to get a high assist rate though with them especially Randle (18.2ppg) & Hill (16.7ppg) that's how come I average so much assist I utilize my whole team not to mention Lin & Wesley Johnson coming off the screens to shoot. Oh & I play on superstar playing 12 minute quarters also. Oh I'm also an all around superstar at pg too. Oh You have ps4 or xb1?

I'm (still)confused with the coach logic in MC/MP; for the first 40 some-odd games I could not get taken out of the game for nothing. Now, the coach takes me out at the most inopportune times; coming back from a 10+ deficit(spurred by me), going on a big run to break the game open(spurred by me), I'm holding a star player like LeBron in check. It kills it almost every time; their lead balloons, our lead disappears, or the star player goes off. I mean, at least wait until the game is tied, other players start to pick up the scoring, or the CPU takes their star player out. Hopefully, 2K will eventually bring in the option to ask for/ call off a sub.

I don't want to stop playing on my SF but I have too. He is a 6'10 SF with a 89 dunk and a 83 overall but can't dunk on people. Ima play back with him once I get my PG I just created to a 80.

I made him just so I can take my mind off how terrible I play with my other players.

I play better as a guard anyways, so it should be good.

I'm at level 17 defense right now. So ima try to increase it once more and try to get that badge cause great starts many easy opportunities on the offense end/fast breaks.

You may need to play a few games and get a lot of good team defense to unlock it. I played 2 games so far and don't have it yet.

I play on HOF default 12 min, and it's not easy for me to get 10+ assists per game in that difficulty. I've tried to get Randle and Hill involved before, but P&R with them didn't work too much, I might try to do it more now with the last patch; they average between 8-10 pts for me. Wesley has been the starter pretty much all season, with Young coming off the bench; unfortunately, the latter was traded for Randy Foye (injured for 2-4 weeks) and that has forced me to re-work my strategies a bit. I'm a all-around superstar as well, 89 overall, I have a PS4
