Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread

looking for opinions on if this scenario makes my latest trade realistic, after another two years without a championship and a rocky start to the season the bulls traded away rose along with joe harris for, jordan clarkson ed davis and shabazz muhammed. all three were starters and very effective for my lakers team while rose has been deterioratin and was only slightly better than clarkson overall wise plus he now teams with my free agent acquisition of anthony davis.

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread

      I am The Bulls

I wanted to get Younger, so i looked up a trade for Pau Gasol ( now in y.2 of the 3 year deal ) and the Magics Offered Aaron Gordon....

      Trade:
      Bulls Get: SF/PF: Aaron Gordon
Magics Get: PF/C: Pau Gasol, 2 First and 1 2nd Pick

Good Trade????? The trade did clear up some cap space!

I wanna trade for more fire power....
on the block, Nikola Mirotic ( like him in real life, cant play with him at all )
Tony Snell, Taj Gison and Doug McDermott

Any one has any ideas? i put nikola and taj together in the trade finder, and the wolfs offered up Andrew Wiggins lol and Gorgui Dieng.....but to me that will be stealing the wolfs and taking their baby wolfs away lol!

Def not Drummond. Monroe if the feeling is he won't resign. Drummond is getting very good and still on his rookie deal

I'm at the All Star break of my Pelicans franchise. I've only made the moves that have been made in real life so far and my team is playing well. We're currently 5th in the West, but are only 2.5 games out of 1st place.

I'm considering trading Asik, mainly because he wants to test the FA market. I don't really have draft picks that I can afford to give up, but I would like to bring in another center who is at as least good as him. Would Asik (who is in his last year) and a role player on a 1 year deal get me a center like JaVale McGee or Nikola Pekovic? Both of them are on teams that are out of contention so expiring contracts would be of value to them.

Honestly, Asik is perfect for what I need in a center, but I'm worried about him bolting. Even though the two guys I mentioned above have more expensive contracts, at least they have Bird Rights so I can hopefully keep them once they become FA's. What do you guys think? Should I just ride it out with Asik or make a trade for one of the players I mentioned? I'd be willing to listen to other suggestions as well.

Check his loyality and if it says that he's not loyal trade him. Go to player finder and look who has inside defense and rebounding equal to Asik and post those players here so we can help you.

Are you doing 30-team control to make the real life moves?

No. I'm only controlling two teams. My main team is the Pelicans and my second team (my favorite team in real life) the Celtics. I'm using the C's to facilitate all of the trades. I'm also "managing" them that way if I ever get bored with the Pels, I'll just start playing with Boston.

As the Bulls, I Just Signed Kevin Durant to a Max Deal, should i Trade Jimmy Bulter or move him to 6 man?

Having Kevin Durant in the Bulls looks odd....lol we got way to much Fire Power Now!

                  PG: Rose
                  SG: Jordan
                  SF: Durant
PF: Parker ( They traded him to the Nets in my game, so i traded for him, wanted to keep him with bucks )
                  C:Noah

EDIT: Never mind, MyLeague looks to fake!....Gonna reset one and run all 30 teams!

But Here is something u guys can help me with! should i go and put Aaron Gordon with the bulls and Model him after Blake Griffin? i really want a PF with Tons of skills on my team ( Bulls )

                  Thanks

I think Minnesota would take Asik and either Ajinca or Withey for Nikola Pekovic. I think you have to include one of Ajinca/Withey since that would leave Minnie with only Dieng/Asik. If you feel short on centers you can sign one in FA. The trade works for you because you take a contract Minnie does not want and Minnesota can let Dieng start possibly as soon as Asik enters.

I think I'm going to have to steal your idea I'm doing a T'Wolves MyLeague, and not a huge fan of Pekovic's huge contract. Don't get me wrong he is a solid starting Center. I love his low-post/ rebounding skills but his athleticism leaves a lot to be desired.

I would trade Pekovic for Withey/Asik. My only question, would be could I get a draft pick out of this as well? (By I, I mean the T'Wolves)

Maybe you could do Asik/Ajinca/2nd for Pek. Whitey is young man. Look at all the young sleeper bigs in the NBA. Hassan was one, Mitch McGary(?) is playing well. Dieng, on the Wolves is/was a sleeper. Cole Aldrich can probably ball as well but that's another story.

As a T'Wolves fan myself, id take getting rid of Peks contract as the best thing you could ask for, on that note Im not a fan of the extension the Wizards gave Gortat over the summer

What realistic trade would it take to get either Zach Lavine or Dante Exum to the lakers? I'm fine with trading Julius Randle.

Asik is Loyal. He is rated 81 in block and 96/90 in offensive/defensive rebounding.

Pek is 45 block, 99 OREB and 76 DREB
                              McGee 99, 72 and 90

I searched Trade Finder for players with B or better Post Defense and A or better rebounding. It's mostly guys that I don't think I could realistic get (Howard, Cousins, Noah, Drummond, D. Jordan). Tyson Chandler was the final name and I would be interested in bringing him back to NOLA. The Mavs are actually worse than the T'Wolves and Nuggets, however they're one of our biggest biggest rivals, so I don't know...

Tyson is 86, 96 and 91. He's much older and making 22m over the next two years. However, it's 14.6m in 2014 and 8.04m in 2015. Well, after typing this I just realized that I don't think I can match salaries for Chandler unless I trade Ryan Anderson and I really don't want to do that.

Peks contract (and age) is the main reason I think they would be willing to just dump him for expiring's. I might give up Withey too, but I would prefer not too.
