Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
There was a report that just came out, saying that the Celtics and Nuggets were engaged in trade talks about Ty Lawson, and that Denver could also be looking to move Faried, so I did some research and how about one of these...
Celtics Receive: Ty Lawson, Kenneth Faried
Nuggets Receive: Marcus Smart, Avery Bradley, Brandon Bass, 1st Round Pick
OR
Celtics Receive: Ty Lawson, Gary Harris
Nuggets Receive: Marcus Smart, Avery Bradley, 2nd Round Pick
OR
Celtics Receive: Ty Lawson, Kenneth Faried, JaVale McGee
Nuggets Receive: Marcus Smart, Avery Bradley, Brandon Bass, Marcus Thornton, Tyler Zeller
Any of these look like realistic deals?
I think the third one is least realistic because Boston wouldn't want to take on McGee's contract.
And the Magic deal is a no go, Wiggins is untouchable.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
As a Celtics fan, I would take the first trade. But you have to give a up this years first and I think it should be a top 3 protected pick. If you get in the top 3, then they get a first next year. Also I think an extra first from next years draft, you should have like 4 or 5 firsts. And if you get a top 3 pick give them another first from this years draft.

Despite the Boston Celtics’ apparent desire to sell off any players with long-term money tied up in their contracts, the team has reportedly shown interest in at least one All-Star caliber guard. The Celtics have had “exploratory talks” with the Denver Nuggets about point guard Ty Lawson, Grantland’s Zach Lowe wrote Monday, citing unnamed sources. […]Comment

I don't think there is any "fair" deal for Wiggins that doesn't include one of the top 10 players in the NBA today heading to Minnesota as part of the packageComment

"Still, Lawson is tied for the league lead with a career-high 10.1 assists per game, and his salary of nearly $11.596MM would fit within Boston’s massive trade exception worth more than $12.909MM left over from the Rondo trade, so the Nuggets could offload his salary without taking anyone back. Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I'm not. You're talking about trading away a guy who has the upside as the next great player in the league. Minnesota isn't trading him in his rookie year for what amounts to a combo guard and a tweener athlete.Comment
