Calderon has really regressed these past few years and Hardaway's second season has been terrible. They have better guards of the bench in Harris and Barea. I know they aldo get a draft pick but the Mavs hate to develop young player. They dont have the patience and this trade is just unfair to them.
For the Pels, it is a matter of my personal opinion of Jrue Holiday. To me, he is an all-star point guard when healthy. People underrate him becuase he hasn't played a lot of games these past years and he doesn't handle the ball much with Evans in the lineup. He can do it all, pass, shoot, defend with size and length. Giving him up for Avery Bradley, who is a good defender but streaky on offense isn't intelligent. Turner is a poor man's Tyreke Evans. Both him and Jason Smith don't hold much value for New Orleans. The trade would be a little more fair with Evans in place of Holiday.
    I hope this helped
You're probably right about Dallas. As long as Dirk is there, they're going to be in "win now" mode. Thanks for the feedback.

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread

Star small forwards are a bit thin in the league, if you're trying to get one to Boston. Butler, Kawhi, and Hayward seem to be untouchable, along with the obvious ones (KD, LeBron, Wiggins, Parker).

One option that may not be popular is Khris Middleton. Dude's been balling, but I wouldn't necessarily say he's untouchable. Maybe something like:

Boston Receives: Middleton, Carter-Williams (MIL 1st)

      Milwaukee Receives: Smart, Tyreke

New Orleans Receives: Turner, Zeller, Bradley

Not sure if they salaries/rosters line up for that, but something along those lines could work. Maybe have Milwaukee throw a 1st rounder at Boston for Smart.

Boston gets a solid scorer in Middleton to go along with IT and Sully, as well as a guard off of the bench that can make plays on both ends (essentially Marcus Smart but at 6'6"). The 1st rounder doesn't hurt.

Milwaukee gets a guard for the future in Smart, who is excellent on the defensive end, as well as a do-it-all guard/forward in Evans, who can play the point for them as well if they want to play Smart at the two. Good core of Evans, Smart, Giannis, Parker for sure.

New Orleans gets bodies in Turner, Zeller, and Bradley. Turner can play Tyreke's role, while Bradley can become a three-and-D guard alongside Jrue and Davis. Zeller can pair up well with Davis if they want to trade Asik.

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread

Thanks, Jazzman. I just checked and Middleton is actually a FA. Smart won Rookie of the Year so I think it's best to keep him.

Assuming we can sign Middleton, then a lineup of

        Smart/Thomas/Pressey
        Bradley/Young
        Middleton/Wallace
        Sullinger/S.Randolph
        Olynyk, Zeller

looks pretty strong... although depth is a problem, however that doesn't take take into account that their 2nd, 8th and 21st picks in the draft. So add in either Towns or Okafor at 2 as well as a SG or SF at 8 and they should have a very solid lineup and 21 million (less Middleton's contract) of cap to spend.

After much deliberation, I think I'm going to stand pat with the Pels. I tried my best to give all of the teams their correct draft picks, even protected ones, so I actually have my own 16th pick back since I made the playoffs. Hopefully, I can get a nice contributors there and add in some fillers to make another push. Next season I should be a player in free agency with EG's monster contract off the books, however I have AD's signing to worry about so that's obviously my main priority.

Demare Carroll should be a FA as well he'd be a nice fit at SF as well and may come much cheaper than Middleton

Batum is also a great FA option at SF.

He would a great option... one of the more underrated players in the NBA. Great defensive player.

What is a realistic trade just to get rid off Calderon?

Taking on another equally bad contract or sending out a 1st rounder with him for junk. He has no value at this point.

I had to do Calderon + 1st rounder for a 2nd rounder a 62 rated expiring contract (Haywood if I'm not mistaken).

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread

Im getting closer to the trade deadline in my Jazz Myleauge.
                      Roster:
                      PG: Dante Exum/ Trey Burke/ 2nd rounder
SG: 2ND overall pick/ Rodney Hood/ Alec Burks
                      SF: Gordon Hayward/ Kyle Singler
PF: Derrick Favors/ Trevor Booker/ Grant Jerret
                      C: Rudy Gobert/ 70 ovr second rounder

Were 10-29 so I guess ill be holding onto my pick for this year but I would love to get rid of Alec Burks contract. In the next four years, I have 10 first rounders from various teams due to all first round picks being correct and due to trading 3 2nds for 1 first 2/3 times. The picks are from contending teams and I can give up all but my own for this year if I can fairly get rid of Burks.

Playing first season as Mavs and wanna get rid of any players from this list and get pg or sg (low to mid 70s overall is what im hoping for, dont wanna trade draft picks):

JJ Barea, Devin Harris, Felton, Powell, Greg Smith.
                        NBA: Miami Heat

With the current rosters I'm wondering what a fair and realistic trade to get rid of Roy Hibbert is. Like Larry Bird said the Pacers need to get more athletic in the front court.
