Just choose to report everything you can do and nothing you couldn't.
He probably just gets relayed information from the developers/marketers to tell all of us. He probably doesn't even play the game much. So it wouldn't surprise me if he really didn't know, he just went with what he was told to tell us about the game.

        Two things.

        1. I was told CPU controlled teams were in (as Rob previously mentioned on the podcast). For that, I apologize.

        2. I promise I'm taking the feedback to the dev. team. I think we all want to see Online Leagues get to a point where people want it.
So if I play in an OL with just 2 other ppl, we would just play each other 82 times? That's a joke.

They sure seem to know a lot about the positives of the game. Online leagues weren't mentioned once in any of their streams. OL was ignored all build up for launch except for a few random tweets by ld2k. After that we were told stability was a main focus. These leagues don't sound very stable...

I dont even know what to say at this point..... Last year was pretty bad the way the offseason was set up, but at least i could fantasy draft/have computer users. I wouldve preferred them just to keep last years oa just so it can be playable.

The mode at this point is just laughable if there are no cpu teams/fantasy draft. I could just play a series of online games if i wanted to play a user team over and over. Im really hoping some info is being left out or something.

I literally just made a account to express my disgust in this mode

LD, I appreciate you passing our suggestions to the development team, but seeing you're always busy, is there anyone in particular we should be paying attention to in terms of getting our voices heard? Is it mike wang? Rob? Someone else? Would you consider bringing in someone knowledgable and passionate in the online association community to discuss things for 2k16? As passionate as some of us are, I bet a few would be willing to pay for their own flight and hotel in order to get their voices heard into making the next one better online, me included. Even tho I'm far from a 2k YouTube star, lol.

....This is the million dollar question. We know Leftos and DaveZ work on myleague/mygm. We know Mike Wang aka Beluba is the gameplay maestro along with Jerson Sapida (Guy who makes the game feel good...lol) and Zach Timmerman (Post Play Extroadinaire). According to the press row podcast, we know Rob Jones is the Producer who essentially represents 2k as its liaison to the media at large (with a focus on shoes as an aside). Of course, we know the simnation president Da Czar is the AI and playbook genius at Novato now. How can I forget Beds (Roster aficionado and the new resident 2k insider).

I remember a female employee that used to work for VC who interacted with the online league community pre 2k12. If anyone recalls her name, please jog my memory as she was super helpful in addressing the communities issues and concerns back in the day. She has since gone dark for a few years now since the introductions of OAs post 2k11 so I'm assuming she is no longer there (pure speculation of course).

That leaves my best guess to Erick Boenish aka simballer. He is now a senior producer at VC so pure speculation would be that he is no longer as involved in the day the day operations anymore since he is one of the longer tenured devs at VC. But I do recall this Dev. Insight circa 2k12 when he brought the association online, in what was the inaugural season of Online Associations on last gen. If myleague ever comes online, I would hope simballer would be at the helm in its implementation as it was nearly flawless in concept. Of course Leftos and DaveZ's extensive work on offline myleague would be invaluable for an online iteration.

If not for the crippling bugs in that mode, it would be on par with Madden's vaunted Connected Franchise Modes. Really wish we could get direct interaction with the devs directly involved in this mode. In the mean time, we just have to hope that LD2K has suddenly gotten the online league religion, and has in no uncertain terms, relayed our gripes, suggestions, feedback, and constructive cirticisms to the devs.

This is pretty disappointing news. Many of your "hardcore" supporters have been clamoring for a competent online league mode for 2-3 years now and you give a bare bones experience yet again. I'm still holding out hope that this can be fixed somehow, but if Live has competent online leagues, I may be spending some time there. I guess when it came to stuff like this, I expected it out of EA, but if I really look it truly, the writing has been on the wall for a while now.

Hell the game isn't even out and we are already being told to be patient. Don't worry they will force all the good reviews down your throat for the weeks to come on twitter. I'm simply just so frustrated with the company as a whole. It's like they are trolling the online league community.
I'll state this for the last time because I'm just repeating myself, my perspective is coming from comparing the overall completeness of NBA2k15 to the NFL gaming genre and NBA2k's 10 year or so track record. Coming from that POV the bold comes across as frustration from impatience, which is anyone's right, more so than a gripe of being neglected by the company.

As an avid online league gamer, for me, considering how fleshed out MyLeague seems, anything short of that being offered as an online league would be disappointing and I wouldn't have played it much. Yet even with that disappointment, I'm optimistic that next year they will add an online MyLeague, which is worth waiting for, imo.

That said, I understand when you're accustom to having nice things, those things can begin to become expected more than acknowledged.

From what ive seen is that they simply dont care. We dont need a completely revamped online franchise like madden. Last years oa wouldve been perfectly fine if the postseason/offseason was fixed. I struggle to believe it would take that much dev time/effort just to fix bugs instead of dumbing the mode down to the point where it isnt playable(current situation)

I play this game mode the most and for it to be pretty much not accessible really doesnt sit well with me. Ive seen many dev vids on how the phrase "we have listened to the community" has been thrown around....clearly wasnt done. Nothing againt the other gr8 modes in game, but to take something away that just needed to be built on a lil more was senseless. 2yrs of no proper OA is bad....pe

NBA2K's track record isn't good. OA was filled with bugs that went years without addressing. I think it was 2K11 online system didnt even work for the 1st month haha.

You do realize you just told me to wait til next year and 2K15 isn't even out yet?!?! I was told wait til next year last year. I was asked to provide info how to improve the mode did it and it still has the same issues? Now I cant even feel neglected when a company offers this garbage mode but offers not one but 2 offline franchise modes. Just because you weren't interested in anything short of online myleague doesn't mean I should share your interests. All I ever wanted was a working online league with a complete list of admin controls. Nothing more, nothing less.

I still can't get over you said wait til next year smh

Who cares about OA bc they got them tight kicks in the game along with the custom underarm hair. Oh and dont forget the long hex pads.

All jokes aside....I think 2K just tried to pack so much into this game. Why not just make a NBA 2K MYPLAYER/MYPARK game and get it over with.

Rob Jones had me so excited after listening to The Press Row Podcast. He was talking about how in college his friends had leagues for the games they were playing at the time. He also mentioned how they would write the stats down after every game.

I thought Rob had the passion to help bring us a awsome OA this year. I guess they will need more Twitter followers before that will happen in 2K16.
