You do realize you just told me to wait til next year and 2K15 isn't even out yet?!?! I was told wait til next year last year. I was asked to provide info how to improve the mode did it and it still has the same issues? Now I cant even feel neglected when a company offers this garbage mode but offers not one but 2 offline franchise modes. Just because you weren't interested in anything short of online myleague doesn't mean I should share your interests. All I ever wanted was a working online league with a complete list of admin controls. Nothing more, nothing less.

I still can't get over you said wait til next year smh
With 2K13 I went through all the proper channels to submit the numerous bugs, captured all the screenshots and was told that they have started work on 2K14 and those bugs would be addressed in that version. Of course we found out not only were those bugs not addressed but new ones were introduced and never patched. I wish I could find the old emails with the responses.

It's been 4-5 years and counting waiting on a bug-free playable online league and still haven't got it. It's preposterous to play the "just wait guys I'm sure they'll take care of you" card that some seem to be playing.

I wouldn't be as upset either if they just fleshed out existing modes but the addition of The Stage is really what bothers me. Not only was time spent adding more to The Park mode like the Jordan Rec League but also added an entirely new mode without fleshing out the online leagues the way other modes have been.

All jokes aside....I think 2K just tried to pack so much into this game. Why not just make a NBA 2K MYPLAYER/MYPARK game and get it over with.

Rob Jones had me so excited after listening to The Press Row Podcast. He was talking about how in college his friends had leagues for the games they were playing at the time. He also mentioned how they would write the stats down after every game.

I thought Rob had the passion to help bring us a awsome OA this year. I guess they will need more Twitter followers before that will happen in 2K16.
I think he was dropping a sublim telling users to be prepared to do your own league work outside the game lol.

Wow...interesting observation even if might be a bit heavy on the conspiracy-theory side of things.

I remember him telling that story on the podcast about how they did things on pen and paper, and how it was a labor of love for them. With the custom roster feature, sounds like that's what we will have to work with this year, with alot of crafty albeit annoying workarounds to account for the ommissions.

Re: Online leagues 2k15, The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

I am a MyLeague player so forgive me when I say, this is not as big a deal for me, however, there may be a bit of good news, at least for PS4 owners.

The SharePlay feature is expected before Christmas. If the information Sony gave us is true, one person, I suspect you could call him the commissioner, can set up a MyLeague, however the members of the league prefer. With Share Play, the other users can take over his game, and play with their teams. This would allow many more options, customization, and the ability to have the league populated with CPU teams. You could create the draft classes, edit them etc. The only drawback would be, the Commissioner would have to be available whenever the other members wanted to play so that he could leave his system running, and this may prevent the other members of the league from playing when they like. That is, if Share Play operates in the manner that Sony is advertising.

The great unknown would be, what happens when its user vs user. I am not sure whether Share Play would allow for user vs user, however, there is a strong possibility that it may support user vs user, and even if it does, most likely, one of the members would need to play on the "Commissioner's" PS4. When I played online leagues, this would not have been a problem but, I know for many leagues it might.

I don't know if this helps but trust me, I feel your pain. That is why I took the time to write this. PS4 owners, it may be a good idea to start researching the Share Play for the PS4 and its capabilities.

thx for the writting, but I think that this would be a nightmare for the commissioner, and there would be only the possibility to play a game at a time.

Do you realize I didn't? lol. I have stated repeatedly I have no intention of telling anyone how to feel or react to this mode, I'm just stating my POV on it. What an odd reply, imo but to each their own.

Coming from that POV the bold comes across as frustration from impatience, which is anyone's right, more so than a gripe of being neglected by the company.

As an avid online league gamer, for me, considering how fleshed out MyLeague seems, anything short of that being offered as an online league would be disappointing and I wouldn't have played it much. Yet even with that disappointment, I'm optimistic that next year they will add an online MyLeague, which is worth waiting for, imo.

That said, I understand when you're accustom to having nice things, those things can begin to become expected more than acknowledged.
When I personally use the term "bare bones" it's not out of frustration, it's a reasonable observation of the current state of the mode.

Aye, we had six. Would have worked for us. Can work for others.

Never asked for your "POV". I stated my frustrations and you basically said I I just need to be patient and am spoiled with 2K. I've stated I didn't expect anything amazing... I did expect something that works.

So you're commenting in a thread that you yourself said you wouldn't play much haha. Thats like me going to a Park thread and giving people hope for next year. "don't worry guys 2k16 will deliver"

I had a hunch with all the special attention to the "my" game modes, that OA's would get shafted. Guess that hunch was right. HOPEFULLY 2k sees the outrage and does something about it, but most likely, we'll just have to wait until next year when we will be ultimately let down once again.

I had to go back a few pages to be sure and the irony is you quoted a post I made to other posters, which started our odd back and forth, so essentially you DID ask for my POV, lol. Unless you think when you quote someone's posts, that wasn't directed at you, to give your POV, that should be the end of it.

To the rest of your post, I don't even know what to say, so I'll just say hope to catch you on the virtual court sometime.
