Yeah, I went to charge my PS4 controllers last night in anticipation of buying 2K today on PS4 and it kind of hit me. I never want to be doing this all the time.

A lot of my PS4 sessions are for solo, single player campaigns in which I charge up the night before and can just play through. I also play a lot of FIFA, but I've stuck with Xbox for local and online multiplayer. The idea of having to wait for a controller to charge is a huge disadvantage to me.

The one comment that still has me kind of crazy was the "this looks like a pro game vs. a video game comment"... did you feel the same? Because that is a HUGE graphical difference IMO.

And as long as we get this decision figured out by NBA tip-off, we will all be in great shape haha!

I haven't tried it online yet, I still have both the redbox games. I am about to jump in and play them again.* Wait a second I just found game speed in XBOX one setting, about to test out on PS4.
Thanks for the acknowledgment. It's nice to know that I am not seeing things. I will also try lowering the speed. Having both systems, for some reason it was enjoyable trying to figure out the differences. I hope that the server gets fixed, seemingly from a sony issue. Also, hopefully 2k can determine that the ps4 default speed seems slightly high and change that as well. Other than that I am super happy about the game.

Have you made your final verdict?

So for me at least, that issue is resolved as I agree the PS4 was more enjoyable at a slightly slower pace on the X1. I will say at this point, people should get the PS4 version without a doubt IF the servers hold up for a good online experience. The only think I am missing is the "xbox record that" lol. BTW is there a way to share game play on ps4 when you hit the share button other than facebook? I am really enjoying the game. I saw a review that this is just an "add on" to 2k14. I couldn't disagree more. This is a graphic upgrade, and so many small things done much better.
I notice you keep mentioning this, so I'm not sure how familiar you are with the 'What's New' feed on the PS4. Basically, every video, screenshots, trophy or in-game milestone you (or a friend) share on Facebook, Twitter, etc., shows up there so long as you do not share it private. You can also go to a friend's profile and view their recent activity, and see all of their shares there as well. You can also see game specific activity (friends who've played, shares, trophies, etc.), in the games splash menu (down on the d-pad when game is highlighted on the xmb).

Facebook, Twitter simply serve as your storage place, similar to OneDrive on the XB1. YouTube will work the same once implemented. You can also currently move the raw video or image files to a USB drive if you want.

Thanks for this thread. I'm making the next gen jump primarily because of NBA2K 15 but wasn't sure which system. I purchased the game already for XBox One mainly to get the pre order bonuses. Waiting until the white Sunset Overdrive model releases to get the console though (gonna be a long three weeks. ..) . Haven't read the thread in it's entirety so forgive me - the XB1 version is 1080p correct? Thx
HBO's "The Wire" should rank as one of the top 10 shows EVER on tv - period

              XBL gamertag: d0meBreaker22 (that's a zero)

Hey Andy, I am going to keep the PS4 version unless the slightly faster speed becomes annoying. I have 7 days to return it. I tried it out really late last night and was falling asleep, so hopefully I have more time to spend with it today.

Both should be 1080p/60fps according to what I have heard.

I am envious of you guys that have redbox for games. We don't have that for Canada. Just movies and I don't think much rent em.

Cool, yeah I may take advantage of the 7 day exchange policy and just see if I can get used to it on PS4... if not, I would swap for X1.

                      And vice versa haha.

I wish I had named the thread "NBA 2K15" instead of "2K15" for search engine purposes. Anyone know if renaming a thread title is possible? Want to bring in as much feedback as possible. Although that might let it the fanboy trolls as well.

Really impressed again with all of the unbiased feedback from this forum.

Audio is skipping on my PS4 Pretty much similar to NBA 2k14. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Try different settings on the sound settings of the actual PS4. For example changing the DTS/Dolby settings.

This doesn't get any easier with more comments. The ONLY reason at this point to keep my pre-order that has not been picked up yet on ps4 is because I have no games for the system and I feel bad for it lol.
