Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing
After free agency is over. Don't click on player progression. Go to rosters and edit everyone there. You won't be able to edit free agents but I think that adds to the mix because it means a few players will regress. There aren't many but a few players weren't picked up in my game. Wasn't too bad though.Chelsea FC

Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing
I've had it up to here with this. When is this going to be fixed????
I would never have bought the game, or quite frankly an Xbox One for at least another half year, if I had known about this issue.
I basically only play franchise mode in these games. I have zero interest in MyTeam, which is the worst thing that has happened to sports gaming in recent memory. I have minimal interest in MyCareer, and you can only play so many exhibition games.
I haven't played the game in two weeks. Way to mislead your customers, 2k. Pathetic. At least have the decency to fix your own **** up.Check out my WWE2K19 Universe Dynasty - "The Monday Night Wars...REIGNITED" WCW vs. WWE vs. ECWComment

Again, i'm sure 2K didn't intend to make the regression how it is. It was probably just due to poor testing throughout multiple seasons in the franchise as no one thought that regression would be on their top priority list to check.Last edited by Aestiux; 12-16-2014, 12:00 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing
What would be super helpful is if someone gets a chance, post a Step by Step guide on the available workarounds that we currently have. For example:
"Turn Back the Clock Method"
1. At the end of the Finals(?), note every player's birthday and years pro between ages 28-32. Manually edit those players to the age 27.
2. After free agency, but before player progression(?), change every edited player back to their correct age and years pro.
3. Now check the PG/SG/SF in the league for severely regressed skills that don't realistically regress with age (3pt shooting, etc.) for the players over 32.
4. Next step, etc.
Chemistry Workaround
1. Lower chemistry difficulty to 0
2. Raise chemistry effects to 100(?)
3. etc...
4. etc...
XYZ Workaround
1. Step 1
2. Step 2
3. Step 3Favorite Sports Teams

Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing
1. Between the 1st and 13th day of free agency but not after or all effects would have taken place, note every player's birthday and years pro between ages 28-32*. Manually edit those players to the age 27. I choose the 13th as it means most players are signed to a team and can be edited. You can then also note down players not signed by a team and edit them later if you want to.
2. Now you can go through to the player progression screen. You will see the usual regression with players 33 and over which is pretty realistic. You should also see some minor regression with some of the edited players but you will also see some stay static and some progress.
3. Now if you wish you can check the PG/SG/SFs in the league for severely regressed skills that don't realistically regress with age (3pt shooting, etc.) for the players over 32. I personally don't do this as this will take quite a while.
4. Once you have decided to edit the players who are 33 and older you can revert the players you have edited back to their original ages and years pro. I tend to do this at the start of next season as then I will know no more changes will be made.
5. Rinse and repeat every off season.
*Here's a list, its not complete as there will be free agents you can't do anything about as you can't edit in the free agents section and you can't see free agents in the roster screen.

Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing
Yeah I know that they know about it but I really wish that we new for sure if it was going to be fixed or not because the game has been out for like a month and a half and I have yet to start a MYLEAGUE because of this. I figured I would want for the last patch to come out first to see if it got fixed or not and it didn't so I was thinking maybe I will just want a few more weeks so I can adjust to the patch and my sliders has I need to make a few more adjustments to my sliders before I will be ready any way.Comment

Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing
I've been using the list of players above, and when it comes to guys I can't edit because they are still in free agency I just decide that teams are avoiding them because the league as a whole believes they are in decline. It's not perfect but it does add a bit of believability to the mix I guess.

Unfortunately, I like editing but not every single player on NBA teams. I think I'll take the easy way out with the chemistry until it's fixed.Comment

Props to the guys putting in big efforts here to establish servicable workarounds!
really hope 2k will do smth about it though, this game is just too good otherwise to leave smth like unfixed, would be just sad...Spending time with Jesus!

Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing
Seriously, the game plays so well imo it's a shame to have one thing drag it down. Especially with the franchise modes highlighted this year, hopefully they'll decide it's worth polishing them up.Comment
