Interesting... hopefully, a few guys can run some test and we can come to a consensus on what the best course of action is.

In the meantime, if anyone knows of a good place to get players ages ( or just their dates of birth) from other than going to individual team pages let me know. I was thinking about working a spreadsheet tomorrow at work.

Does anyone have an educated guess on whether a patch would take effect on MYleagues already in progress or would it require starting a new one? This is of course assuming they patch the issue.

Just trying to figure out if I should start MYyleague or wait and see if a fix comes along soon.

Best way I can think of is to go here:

Checkout the player stat totals for 2014-15 NBA Season and more on Basketball-Reference.com

You can either just do a quick text search on the page, or export to Excel for sorting. It only includes players who have played at least 1 game this season, but this should get you 99.9% of the way there.

I think that rosters make the most difference. Because when I used one of the custom rosters from here, the regression was much worse and I cant imagine the slider changes really made that much of a difference.

It's hard to say without a firm grasp on the technical side of it, but 95% of the time, patches can fix issues with modes already in progress. The fix would simply take effect during the next offseason.

Just a guess, but I feel pretty confident in it.

In the patch thread I think it LD2K said that patches would affect existing myleagues.

On the other hand, those pics are pretty depressing. -1 and -2 I can live with on players 29 and up. -3 I can live with on players 31/32 and up. -4 and -5 after each year though is just too harsh. The regression outweighs the progression.

Ok fellas I've been in the lab, doing some work and stumble on a band aid for the regression that we are seeing.

                          * this isn't a fix but it helps

Idk if it's been mentioned but morale and team chemistry both effect player overalls.

So I zeroed out the following sliders (morale difficulty, morale effects, and chemistry difficulty) and increased the chemistry effects to 100.

What happens is that after the player regression occurs the players will get a boost from not having their morale effect there attributes and since the chemistry is now easier to obtain maxing out the chemistry slider gives another boost .

So long story short all players will get 2-3 points added to there overall which slows regression...

Try it out and let me know what you see

Btw: you can see the players real overall by backing out after the progression during the offseason and checking it out in the roster tabs.

Just incase anyone needed to know
                          draft class quality at 7
                          Player progression at 45
                          In season training at 51

The age thing is fine, just add value that you feel that fit the player's age skills.

I'm going to ask this question, because it seems like everybody is all scared and **it

Is it your roster's are 2k roster's. because when I ask people how's the regress thing, they said "not to bad"

Why don't you sim with 2k roster's and Post result. I want to see if it's a miner thing, are this huge bug.
