Is it your roster's are 2k roster's. because when I ask people how's the regress thing, they said "not to bad"

Why don't you sim with 2k roster's and Post result. I want to see if it's a miner thing, are this huge bug.

I have only ever used the 2k roster, and yes the regression problem is just as bad.

Ps. Great thread, and glad the developers are looking into this. Hope we get a sticking plaster soon which is what I am waiting for before I re-start playing MyLeague. I'm still thinking that this is the best sports game I have ever played.

Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing

        First Test

        Morale Dif - 0
        Morale Effect - 0
        Chem Dif - 0
        Chem Effect - 100
        Injuries - OFF
        Player Progression - 10
        In season Training - 10

As you can see, regression has been helped. Look at Mike Miller in the first image, he has lost -5 but if you look at his rating in the top left corner its actually 72 which is a -3 regression which isn't too bad. Probably the best we will get. One problem with this set is that there isn't any progression. Images 2 and 3 are from season 2 and as you can see Dion Waiters has regressed and the Philly team hasn't progress at all.

I turned injuries off as we aren't worried about people regressing because of injuries. I think that works pretty well.

My next test will up Player Progression to 35

Edit: just did a season with PP at 35 and it yielded the same results bar a few players with high potential. Will now try

        Player Progression 35
        In Season Training 35

Thanks for the screenies. In terms of uploading photos, imgur is great for it. You can just create an album there and embed it into a post here.

Is it me or are big men hit disproportionately hard? I know a guy like Bogut is injury prone, as is Varejao to some degree, but it seems like the big men regress at a similarly high rate (-5) regardless of settings.

I guess if physicals are hit badly then big men will suffer more as they rely on strength and other physicals where as guards can rely on shooting as passing to up their overall more

Also, Think i've stumbled onto something with these settings

              Morale Dif - 0
              Morale Effect - 0
              Chem Dif - 0
              Chem Effect - 100
              Player Progression - 35
              In season Training - 35

              After the first season
most under 25s have improved by 1-4
most 25-28 year olds have held at the same rating or gone up or down by 1
Over 29s have regressed by at least 2 and a few by 5 or more.

The reason this works well is because everyone's ratings are improved by 1 or 2 because of Chemistry Effects. This means -5 actually means -3 which is a little more realistic. I think that's the best we are going to get until its patched. A lot more bearable in my opinion

Hey so after further testing if you increase the in season training(50-100) all the players, veterans included will increase a few more points during the season which I believe helps when the drop comes also if you up the progression slider to like 50 it'll allow the younger players to reach a higher overall before the regression starts yielding better overalls once again.

Will give that a try, I think the progression is okay to be honest. +4 for top youngster and +1/2 for others. It means you aren't guaranteed a great player with each youngster

Thats my biggest issue with regression.

Players that would be great off the bench for 20ish minutes in their older age, become bench warmers.

                      I upped
                      In season training - 75
                      Player Progression - 50

After testing a season, during the season everyone improves, some by +1 but I saw a few with +8 but in the off season everyone goes back to their original rating at the beginning of the season and then the vets still regress. It could be useful but it doesn't really solve anything because everyone gets an upgrade, if you could just give the vets an upgrade it would work well.

I still think my original ones work the best
                      In season training - 35
                      Player Progression - 35

You can then use a random generator for the draft class to decide if you get a bunch of good rookies or only a few.

What I do is use a generator between 20-50. if 45 came out then next season I wouldn't allow any numbers 5 less or more than that so it would only be 20-40. It works well I feel.

Sadly though a patch is the only way to fix this. Chemistry effects can only add a max of +3 but its usually +2 so it basically gives everyone an extra season.

Max, I'm not even trying to be funny or a jerk when I say this so please don't take offense but... are you saying that everyone here on the forums that have complained and posted screenshots of the issue are delusional? The issue is pretty well documented. I understand people saying it's not a big issue to them and that's there opinion but it's definitely there man.
