Has anyone tried increasing the potential of players ages 28 and over to see what that does? I know people have messed with ages and sliders but what about the potential rating?

Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing
Why do we accept this? Why is this ok? Why must we wait a whole year just so they can fix a problem that shouldn't have been there in the first place.
This issue, along with many other issues IE, no damn replaysshould be fixed NOW. Not next year. NOW.
We all know if we have to wait until next year it will probably never be fixed anyway.
We should DEMAND that they fix this NOW!Comment

I'll ask again:
Has anyone tried increasing the potential of players ages 28 and over to see what that does? I know people have messed with ages and sliders but what about the potential rating?
The reason I ask is because guys like Lebron and Durant and a few other superstars seem immune based on some testing I've read about.Comment

Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing
Is it something with badges possibly? Like players with superstar badges stay Ok? Thing to think why LeBron and Durant wouldn't regress but everyone else doesComment

Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing
Damn, haven't visited this thread in a while. How's everyone's MyLeague going?
I've pretty much just edit everyone's stats at the beginning of the season, mess around with some other sliders like "In season training".
Haven't really seen anything too horrible. Lebron started to regress a little, but I'm three years in, and he's 33 so that was expected. Wade is overall 79 now, but it seems like a natural regression.
I pretty much just edit the older guys, can't fight it all but I get most of them.
The only thing I regret now is not setting the cap on, lot's of good free agents sitting in free agents that I'm unable to sign.Comment

Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing
SimWorld has said 42 for progression and 54 for in-season training helps reduce the regression issue. Can anyone confirm this works?GT: Herkyalert

Although I think those are my numbers, but that's irrelevant because the only thing that matters is improving the game experienceComment

Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing
Yes it does. I used their updated trade deadline roster when I was home for Spring Break and I didn't see any bad progression. But the key and the members of the team said this. They key is using the in-season training. So that way players are progressing during the season and then at the end of the season they do drop points but it's not as bad. Also I did see a lot of players progress after the season is over.Comment
