I am playing as Center (locked on one player) and I hate sudden speed bursts... I turned defensive assist to 0, tried different sliders, vsync settings, still this stupid "speed hack" happens. It is so hard to consistently control my player.

I am that "speedy crab walker" guy, who runs to contest Tiago Splitter in this gif.

Why does the CPU make every shot late in a close game when they are trailing? It is so annoying and it does not matter how you play the CPU on D. Hand in face from 30 feet? Buckets. Double-team? Swish.

I about put my controller through the TV tonight.

Anyone else getting "slow down" issues when it comes to going in the paint? I'm getting it pretty frequently (ps4) It's happening offline, quick game. ..Really the only mode I play. Thanks.

Yup. I've mentioned this a few times as well.

Did you even read what I wrote? No where did I say people didn't have a right to complain about something. But geez, show some perspective when you want to start leveling a charge that a developer is lazy, lying, or some other overly-simplistic complaint gamers try to direct at developers when they're mad about something. I think part of the reason you don't see developers posting on message boards as much is it's simply not worth possibly getting into some internet argument with someone that thinks an issue is simple to fix, or feels they're owed a dissertation on how things work. Probably not appropriate, but reminds me of a Jim Mora rant a few years ago:

The level of detail in MyLeague alone puts Madden to absolute shame, AND they have a My GM mode. No other sports game has a MyCareer mode like this, not even close; it could be its own standalone game with some more fleshing-out. The online modes are innovative and imaginative in a realm of gaming that sees the same games and the same modes released year after year. I could go on.

I can forgive 2K for not fixing a shoe issue when everything else is the best sports gaming experience money can buy by miles. Remember, they still have to put out another brand new game in 9 months too. I'm not saying they shouldn't be criticized, but calling them "lazy" isn't constructive or true.
They do not HAVE to put out a new game every year. They do it of course to collect another 70 EUR for basically the same game with up to date rosters. It's really not like they HAVE to do it.

Okay mister know it all, so I assume that you have a copy of the contract 2K made with the NBA, that states that they are not required to put out a game every year and they are not subject to any penalties or fines if they do not, plus I am sure then can skip a year in paying the NBA their annual FEES required to hold and maintain the NBA license.

Is 2K worth it for the casual fan? I usually enjoy the games and I am not a hardcore NBA guy like I am NFL, so the smaller things that bug people, I doubt I would even notice. With all the love it got in the OS awards, I would assume it's another solid basketball game from 2K, no?

For sure it's worth it, even with its warts.

still loving this game. the game just works. very satisfying. the majority of the time, what transpires on screen is what should happen…in terms of physics and individual player skills. one thing i love is the differentiation of players. each player really does feel different and their abilities are accurately represented. i like that if i have a weak defender guarding me on a switch, i can blow by him. it pays to know your personnel because the attributes and abilities are true to life.

i tried playing with the bulls and i could immediately feel a difference when controlling Noah on defense. he was so much more agile and his block attempts were much quicker and more effective than most other big men (again, true to life). his movements and everything felt unique to him. awesome stuff.

I noticed this playing with Hassan Whiteside....felt super athletic, controlling the paint, finishing, blocking shots everywhere....absolutely love how different players feel from each other.....

So I'm about to get a PS4 and am looking at a few games I want to play with it. I'm not sure about 2K so hopefully someone can give me a nice little run down. Basically I like in sports games a franchise mode that is pretty cool, good draft classes or at least ones you can edit. Injuries that are real and happen. last thing is some sort of goal or trophy stuff that is fun to get not just a chore. Long of the short should I spend the $60 to get 2K?
