if your stuck on 31% with the installation stopped error just leave it like that, i left my xbox on with that problem and now its at 48%. Its going slow as hell but it atleast passed the error.

Has everyone actually fixed the problem and has it downloading? Cause i am still in the queued... install...... queued.....install.....queued.... disappear part!! I don't even get 1%. I have tried all the little fixes etc that has been posted but still nothing. I can't even get into the manage game section from the Xbox store! I have the Michael Jordan pre order and wasnt til yesterday that it went wacko, it was sitting there fine for the last few weeks since i pre ordered it. When i try and google some info its like it has never happened except for this forum, nothing from Microsoft or 2k, Bit of a pain really!

I'm experiencing the same problem. I started it the first time around 6 ET, after 2 hours it hadn't gotten past 3% and was randomly queing like yours was, and I saw some people suggest uninstalling, hard reset, and start the DL over again. I did all of that around 8 ET, and now almost an hour later it just says "installing".

The funny thing is, I have it pre ordered at my gamestop down the street, but my friend duped me into downloading it so I wouldn't have to wait in line and we could play at midnight. So much for that. I want to contact xbox to get a refund and go down and get my hard copy at midnight, but that too I'm sure will be a huge f'ing process, so I guess I just need to suck it up and wait til tomorrow. Assuming it actually starts downloading.

I usually buy hard copies anyways because I like to sell them on ebay after I'm done with them, but this is an absolute disaster and will be the last time I download via the Xbox Store. Just another instance of disappointment with this system.

Youy can easily get a refund from microsoft. Just go on the chat support and ask for one, the game isn't officially released yet, and tell them the issue why. Easy process. Go get it from the gamestop at midnight down the street...

That really sucks you guys are having issues. I always make sure to start the preload process as soon as it's available. I periodically check it as well, downloading in rest mode while it's the only thing running helps too.

I'm on PS4 BTW.

That really sucks you guys are having issues. I always make sure to start the preload process as soon as it's available. I periodically check it as well, downloading in rest mode while it's the only thing running helps too.

You're one of the smart ones haha. I was under the impression that to get it tonight you had to pre-order it in store, based on articles I read. But I had a friend tell me otherwise, so I just figured it'd be less of a hassle to DL it and not go out tonight at midnight and stand in line, and just go back with my receipt later and cancel it. Fail.

Well my xbox is back to downloading stuff back at 44 mbps I'd like to thank Kanye West, President Obama not 2k in anyway ummm I'd also like to thank El Chapo, and Ellen if it wasnt for them I wouldnt be at 44% in under 15 minutes

Mines is at 90 mbps but my download aint moving whatsoever.

Did this. I was expecting a longer wait time, and even though the guy struggled to find the transaction and I had to verify multiple access codes, I got the refund and will get a physical copy tonight which will hopefully download a lot quicker.

i switched to digital because you still have to download. except here the big 50 gig download gets done way beforehand and i don't have to drive to the store, buy, drive back and then wait for an install.

I'm simply waiting for it to unlock in 2 hours.
