    Re: Updated Max Cap's MyPlayer Guide

    I just wanted to thank you guys for contributing and compiling all this myplayer data into spreadsheets. I'm just about ready to create my first myplayer so this will be VERY helpful. Thanks for all the work you put into this!

      I doubt there would be much difference skill wise, but maybe some minor differences in speed, vertical, acceleration and possibly strength.

      The front page has a 6'10 and 6'11 PF and the difference in the physical stats is about 6 points (68 down to 62). With the 7'3 C at 55 for physical caps.

      So I'm assuming that it might go:
      7'3 = 55
      7'2 = 57
      7'1 = 58
      7'0 = 60
      6'11 = 62
      6'10 = 68

      But I can't be certain, and if thats the case then the difference between 6'11 and 7'1 as a C would not be as much as the difference between a 6'11 to 6'10 PF.

      So anybody got any solid figures on this?
      What exactly did you want to know...I can tell you the only thing that changes height wise with a center is speed acceleration and vertical...all other stats are the same and determined by inside outside balanced...I only have stats for 7'3 and 6'8 centers...which 7'3 u get 55 speed/vert...6'8 you would get 70 speed/75 vert...stength is decided by scoring inside giving u 94...b-85...out 80

        So what would be the best way to share my current spread sheet...I did it on open office...I have the stats for max height all three scoring for every position...have outside scoring for mid/min height of every position also.

              check the first post....

              there are 2 sheets, 1 which contains every cap posted in this topic and another one which has every single cap of every single height/pos/style combination possible

                It seems that we don't have any clue about my player cap. We'll see later, I hope it could be good

                  Looks like my outside scoring 6'8 SF is is going to suck going to the hoop. 66 driving layup is ridiculous not to mention the dunk and speed caps. I wanted to be able to shoot from the outside, but still be able to take someone off the dribble and drive to the hoop. Not wanting to posterize anyone though. Might think about another build...

                      Re: Updated Max Cap's MyPlayer Guide

                      I have not found anything with complete stats for the different heights based on play style (at least not one where I could easily compare everything). I made an excel sheet listing the PG position (balanced and outside) from heights of 6'0" through 6'7". I listed the base stat as well as increase and cap values for every stat. Color coding is based on all caps for all heights. Bonus point VC add on of 5 pts is not figured into this sheet at all, so every cap could get a +5 with those bonuses.

                      Feel free to use this information, just please give me credit. Loading a new game repeatedly was quite annoying. I didn't go under 6'0" because I didn't see the point with how lacking a 6'0" was with dunking. I would honestly opt to go outside scorer next time for a player that short, it makes way more sense.

                      Here is the google doc: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

                      My first player I made was a Balanced 6'0" PG and capped all the store VC can cap in jump shooting, athletic, and defense and rest in playmaking. while i had a high driving/contact dunk rating of 82, it was irrelevant because i would be blocked purely from my height nearly 100% of the time on any contested dunk. I do have to say, seeing a 6 foot guy get his head to the level of the rim is quite funny though.

                      Regarding best height, IMO the 6'4" balanced PG is the best height when considering speed, 3pt/mid shot and dunk/dunk success. Ball control is still very good at 85 + 5. Once you go to 6'5" you drop 2 stats in speed, accel and ball control. You take the least loss as far as those stats go and the height requirement to be good at dunking. But, this meets my playstyle the best. Yours may be different

                      Enjoy and hopefully this helps some people looking for this info. I really have no desire to do this for other positions. I'm sure someone from the PC community could pull the data from game files.

                        Actually 70 for a 6'8 guy isn't that bad with badges. I would go outside to be reliable from 3. Balanced you only get like a 75/78 cap which isn't bad but your layups cap out at about 75/78 too so that's not too far off. And dunking with a contact dunk of 70 is pretty good

                            You do this at the start of your career setup.

                            If you post your player position, height, and JS & inside scoring stat caps, then someone will be able to tell you.

                              Thanks, I know I set it when u create a player but isn't it saved anywhere inside the game?

                                No. Stat caps are the only way to work it out once you've started your career.
