Also I cant post a link yet since I am new but there is a video ronnie2k and ld2k talk about this stuff for people who are not patient enough to sit around and wait or create 20 guys or do not want to be the exact height of the posted ones so far and want to make a more informed decision. Its on the official 2k twitch in their archives. "t.tv/2k/v/16222434" starts around the 22 min mark.

Re: Updated Max Cap's MyPlayer Guide
Need some help.
Anyone out there playing power forward? Wanna know how you do going up against 7'3 centers? Or how you do in blocking shots in general on mypark.
Seeing as a 6'11" PF can have the same defensive and rebounding stats as a 7'3" center but quite a bit a quicker I might change to this. 55 speed is too damn slow and I'm sure downsizing to 6'11" won't be so bad under the post on MyParkComment

Re: Updated Max Cap's MyPlayer Guide
I'm playing defensive minded PF (6'11, 220 lbs).
Not sure what is the MAX level of stat, but what I have:
- maxed out defender
- 2 shy of maxing rebounder
- 4/5 shy of maxing athlete
Against 88's 7'3 Centers who just stand under the basked with screen animation ->
yeah, im having hard times. they usually outrebound me, if their only goal is to so.
Against 88's 7'3 Centers who are playing 'normally' - the game is even and challenging.
Overall 6'11 PF is giving me the ability to fight under the basket and play an outstanding on-ball defense against smaller players (excluding midgets pg's who are just zig-zaging their way).
However, I have seen 2 PF in myPark so far (me and another guy) and tons of 7'3 Centers.
Take into consideration that it is myfirst park experience (i havent played 2k15/2k14) and im still learning the PS4 online game (new to PS4 as well).Comment

Re: Updated Max Cap's MyPlayer Guide
I'm thinking about making either 6' or 6'3 outside PG. I play like a creator off penetration and pick & rolls, with a lot of my points coming off pull up jumpers. The 6' PG has +2 in 3pt and Mid Range (which makes it 90), +3 in speed and acceleration, +2 ball control and steal, and also has a higher dunk rating which might let me get a few more dunk packages......But I'm not sure if that's worth 3 inches if I'm going to be guarding and be guarded big bigger guys that might abuse me.
For those who have played the game, what do you think about this situation?NCAA Basketball: North Carolina Tarheels
NCAA Football: Florida Gators
NBA: Oklahoma City Thunder
NFL: Seattle Seahawks
Madden SFL League - If you beat them, they will boot you.Comment

Re: Updated Max Cap's MyPlayer Guide
No, that's the normal max stats.. You can't max all of those categories though as you can only max out 5 of the 6 categories.. Only 100 upgrades available.. I'm trying to make a Draymond Green type of C/PF..Comment

Re: Updated Max Cap's MyPlayer Guide
Yeah that's cool. I notice that being a wing in this game is not very beneficial unless you're under sized than what the average is. I love that height affects your stats creating more balance, but a little more tweaking to SG and SF in Athletic category specifically speed department would've been perfect. I feel that 80 and below for wing players are very slow.
Maybe give us player types like in previous 2k so that defensive minded, pure point, slasher, etc could be better implemented as well.
For example a defensive minded SF would be a faster since defense is priority, but lacking even more on offensive skill sets like jump shooter, and playmaking.
Another example is like a slasher SG or SF would also be faster since driving to the hoop is priority over shooting, and also the playmaking category like ball control for example would be higher than what it is currently. So shooting will be further affected than what it is and maybe lack a little on certain defensive abilities.
I hope next year they take into consideration more player types than just "balanced" "outside" "inside" cuz that is too broad to define a specific player you want. You keep the 6 categories how they are, but find a better formula to adjust even more stats and make even more unique player types.Comment

Re: Updated Max Cap's MyPlayer Guide
The OP has speed/accel at 68 and vertical at 75 for the 6'10 balanced PF which isn't correct.
It should be 64 for speec/accel and vert at 69. 2 higher in each category than the 6'11 PF.
Just an fyi for anyone out there wanting to make a quicker PF. You'll have to go lower than 6'10.Comment

Standing dunk should be 85 not 95, driving dunk and contact dunk should both be 85 also.
Seems like the "Athlete" column for the 6'10 got a bit mixed up.Comment
