Re: Updated Max Cap's MyPlayer Guide
No offense, but that sounds like a demi-god. I can't think of one NBA center that was able to do that consistently in the history of the league.
Those of us that create bigs may be better off sticking to the inside since everyone else is going to be focusing on outside shot jacking and dribbling. Being a big man this year is going to be crucial. No need for the 3 ball. I don't think it will be as OP as last year.Comment

Re: Updated Max Cap's MyPlayer Guide
I made a 6'7 SG and my outside shooting (threes) looks like it's gonna cap at 79. This can't be right. No matter what size he is a a SHOOTING guard should have a higher three point cap. Does anyone else know why my shooting guard is has three point shooting that's gonna cap this low?Last edited by Ajoyner41; 09-26-2015, 01:29 AM.Comment

Re: Updated Max Cap's MyPlayer Guide
Like this as I'm trying to decide between a outside or balanced 6'6" or 6'7" sg.

Re: Updated Max Cap's MyPlayer Guide
Yep. I'm already abandoning my 2-guard because even as an undersized 6'4, I can only achieve the level of speed that D-Wade has. Not prime D-wade... 33 year old (almost 34) bad knees Wade. That's my MAX speed. You literally can not make an athletic slasher. KJ McDaniels has 88 speed at 6'6"... If I'm 6'6" I get 78 speed, and only after I spend 50k on VC.
Even as a PG I'm going to be at a disadvantage. Brandon Knight has 92 speed at 6'3". Derrick Rose has 94 speed at 6'3" (after god knows how many surgeries). Westbrook has 96 speed at 6'3". John Wall has 97 speed at 6'4. Even if I go down to 6'2, my speed is an 86! It's going to be really fun guarding those type of guys night in and night out /s
These caps were a good idea in theory, but the execution is horrible, it's already souring me on this mode, which is the one I primarily buy the game for. For somebody who doesn't give a flying fart about online and how "balanced" Park mode is, this is a huge disappointment.Comment

Re: Updated Max Cap's MyPlayer Guide
Have ya'll seen the speed caps for the rest of the league?
Damn near no one breaks 90 unless you're a freak athlete like Rose, Westbrook, Wall, Teague, or Knight.
James Harden has an 81 Speed, Kyrie Iriving has an 86 Speed. Curry has an 83 Speed. Chris Paul has a 79 Speed. Elfrid Payton has a 76 speed. MCW has a 76 speed. CJ Mcullom has a 65 speed. Tony Wroten has an 81 speed.
At 78 speed as a shooting guard you're going to be faster than 90% of the league at you're position.
How is that not dominant?Comment

Re: Updated Max Cap's MyPlayer Guide
I couldn't have said it any better. SG caps are attrocious. It's a dead position. My 6'6 SG has a 78 speed cap no matter what type or weight. It's going to be hell guarding jimmy butler and James harden. The cap is a great idea and should be kept but must be modified. Looks like I'll be a PF or C for the time being. I was really looking forward to playing the 2 since it has such a lack of talent in the NBA.Comment
