Blocks are ridiculous!

It just takes you to the menu where you can save your video, you can hit 'share' then square to save your video really quick at the next dead ball....or you can hit share after the game is over and capture the instance then....it's pretty quick and easy

I'm better with Curry now. But that's understanding the game play rules far as what u can do and not do in regards to shot penalties. For ex., i know u can't do step backs so I know not to try it. I know the game will give a bad grade for pull ups On a break so I want try it to much. So now I play within this games rules. Do I feel it's realistic? No. But if it gets me a win then I adjust to get the W. So before when I got bumped with curry coming up court, I know not to shoot with him and I look for someone else that possession.

I've lost a lot I must say. But it's something like 270-150.

Yep. It's all about understanding how to play it as a video game. You can't do things on here that happen in real life. Once I grasped that concept it wasn't so bad anymore haha.

U know what, totally forgot. Not used to the vid thing. Guess I assume we all have the same game. But just today I was playing the bucks and O.J. Mayo just swatted Iguodala''s dunk. So it's still in the game but no vid. I'll try to remember next time. My bad.

A video of what? Can guards still block dunks? I honestly just did this in MyCareer yesterday but I had to time it exactly right. I am a 6' PG and blocked Noah's dunk attempt. He got a rebound and I jumped early to compensate for my height and blocked it from behind while he was trying to do a 2 handed dunk. I am not sure if that's what you're asking though.

i had a game yez post patch and registered 8 blocks as a team (adams, ibaka and KD). cpu got 0. in another game vs wolves, KD was blocked twice by cpu wiggins from behind.

havent encountered any blocks yet by lower rating guards. playing myleague offline superstar sim sliders.

And to me, that's garbage. This "time it just right" thing doesn't really fly. U cant compensate a major physical disadvantage with timing....sure, u always will have abnormalities. But in general terms, u shouldn't be able to just Time someones dunk and block it just because u timed it right when that player has a height advantage, reach advantage, and vertical advantage. In 2k these questionable blocks arent abnormalities, they happen or did happen way to much. Because on the flip side, If they do what they are supposed to a center should dunk on a 6" guard the majority of the time.

Read what I said again. I was behind him and I jumped before he even attempted the dunk because I knew it was coming.

Maybe I should have said he basically put the ball behind his back and I blocked it because he was trying to power slam it. If I time it right and in the right position, I should be able to block it. Was very realistic imo.

And in my case majority of the time they do successfully dunk it. The only time I usually get blocks is off someone trying to lay the ball up.

Shotblocking is fine as is, finally they got it right to where you can have realistic block totals for your team as well as a individual player, although I have yet to have a playe have more than 4 blocks in a game, heck it was long ago Whiteside had a triple double with pts,reb, and blocks, so it should be possible with a top chotblocker to reach 10+, I have yet to have more than 4 I think with 1 player. I have games where I have none, I think the most I have had for a team is 8 or 9.


Im sure most here are better than me, so Im sure you guys probably get more than I do most times out. I do know if your always switching to the shotblockers when a guy gets in the paint, and getting user blocks because you have become so good at timing them, then that's really on you an not the game being at fault.


I know I have seen some complain before the last patch that it was too overpowered because non shot blockers were able to block shots with ease, and that I agree with, that shouldn't happen very often, although I do remember Kyle Korver blocking Hibbert in the playoffs a couple years ago,lol. Since the latest patch Ive only been seeing your typical shot blockers get them.


I don't play online so I don't know how it is there, but really with any sprts video game playing online your not going to get a realistic experience unless your playing people that play the right way, and sadly it sounds like the majority find cheese ways to play the game, rather than just play basketball. I think no matter who well the devs make this game there will always be bad experiences playing online.

As of right now in patch 3 blocking should be leave alone. Because if 2k try to nerf it after patch 3. We are going to get 2k13 non existence block. Before patch 3 i had a problem with it but now Its good. Is it balance not really but close enough. If 2k nerf it again they going to basically killed blocking. The only thing I am seeing guards who basically have no blocking skills are not blocking me from behind like they use too.
