Re: Random Input Lag during online play?
It's the game. That input lag happens only when I play online sporadically (as in not every match of MyTeam or PNO will it happen) and for short periods of time. No other game has that happen
Usually I can sit at the pause menu or call a full timeout and try to wait it out. Doesn't change the fact that the game becomes literally unplayable for 2-3 minutes at a time randomly
I do understand you! I've suffered whole 2k15 literally hated the game. I've suffered the same in 2k16 right after patch4. It's not about us. It's their servers or game process issue or smt.

Re: Random Input Lag during online play?
This is the type of crap that happens to me and why i can't stand this ******* game. No rhyme or reason Dirk turn his head away from the ball or just stopped like. To make it worse Kevin love turned his head then was able to do this. That's a very suspicious play if i ever seen one. Watch it in full screen if you can.

Re: Random Input Lag during online play?
According to your play art, the pass was suppose to go somewhere else. IRL, Dirk wouldn't and shouldn't have been looking for the ball. Kevin Love was already looking in your general direction before the pass, so I'm not sure why it was a surprise that he was able to steal the ball.Comment

Re: Random Input Lag during online play?
Pretty sure if Dirk found himself open during that play he'd want the ball for the easy j. That's just another example of the fake turnovers 2k has in the game. Stuff like that or when the player you're passing to starts backpeddling to catch a ball coming towards him so that the guy he's backpeddling past can just stand still and catch itComment

You do know you don't have to pass exactly when the play tells you to? Dirk was looking at the ball then stops and turns away. Love was looking at Felton then turns. The pass was slowed to allow Love to steal. You can't defend that play.
You clearly see dirk have his hands up then they go down soon as the input for the pass Is made.

Re: Random Input Lag during online play?
Plus, was the correct contextual pass used? The ball handler was dribbling with his left hand, so there had to be a transition animation of the ball from the left hand to the right. Given the angle of the pass, I feel that the correct transition and pass animation was used. IRL and if you were in the same position, would your body follow the exact motions that's in the clip?

Random Input Lag during online play?
Yes that's because the ai tracked the ball when I pressed pass. Dirk knows the ball is coming but turns away and moves a step in. Love immediately turns his body and squares up to the pass.
Why would Dirks hands be up for the pass but not even look at the ball? Play it frame by frame you will see as soon as D-Will's hand move Loves head immediately turns and tracks the ball.

EDIT: So was Kevin Love suppose to be tracking Dirk or Felton when you attempted the pass? Dirk was his man....I'm just saying. Looking at another player briefly =/= not paying attention to your man.Last edited by ksuttonjr76; 12-30-2015, 07:07 PM.Comment

Picture # 1 - Your human opponent was reacting to Dirk calling for the ball, and being in position for an open shot. The adaptive AI Love "notices" that Felton is open in the corner.
Picture # 2 - Your human opponent backs off Dirk (reason unknown) and begins drifting towards Felton. I strongly believe if your human opponent stayed on Dirk, Love might have "switched" to Felton to challenge the 3PT shot. Of course, your opponent would be whining about how stupid Kevin Love was for leaving Dirk open at the FT line.
Picture # 3 - It's in this millisecond that the adaptive AI Love recognizes that Felton is "covered" by the human player and "picks up" Dirk again. Unfortunately for you, it's at this moment you decide to pass the ball, and Love has full view of the action. Second bad news, Dirk begins moving again. Dirk could be moving for the sake of moving (legacy issue), or he's still following the called play.
Picture # 4 - Well, the rest is history.
EDIT: Looking at the pictures again...Dirk had some big time separation from Love in the first place which would explain why your opponent was cheating towards Dirk early in the play.Last edited by ksuttonjr76; 12-30-2015, 07:36 PM.Comment

Re: Random Input Lag during online play?
Nothing about that **** looked organic. You'll see this type of stuff along with players shooting without looking at the basket.
