That was a different team though. Kobe was doing everything that year, and had that incredible game winner in ot. Sure, I didn't like how the Blazers went out in 2000, but in '06 I wasn't a Suns guy, and I was actually pulling for Kobe for once, since he was so captivating in that season. It was as if he was playing for his life.

Re: So No Steve Nash in NBA 2K17
i desperately wanted to say something about that. jordan doesnt need 2K to stay relevant. the NBA, ESPN, his own Brand does a good enough job at reminding everybody who jordan was/is.
on topic tho....no steve nash is kinda wack. but if they cant get the deal done, oh well. probably didnt really see him as a priority this year anywaysLast edited by phriscaul; 09-06-2016, 12:32 AM.Comment

“Michael Jordan has been an inspiration to me throughout my whole career. What he did to the sport of basketball is what I’ve always wanted to do in the sport of swimming. No. 23 is a special number, and will always be a special number. It always has been, and now it is even more special.”

Either way, tweet Nash like people did Pippen and maybe he'll reconsider..but other than that a great CAP system is the only true way to eliminate an abundance of these issues in the future...at least if we can share those creations.Comment

So - back to Nash, has anyone had this actually confirmed by a Dev or some actual proof he's not in game via video or screen shot?-----------------------------------------

Re: So No Steve Nash in NBA 2K17
Every player isn't the same. Kobe might want more than 2K is willing to offer or he may just want to stay relevant since he's out of basketball completely now.
Kareem took himself out for more cash and he eventually got it. Webber held out for the same reason but he may never see it.
Pippen held out briefly but was either convinced or realized he was already broke and a little money is better than none.
Yep, Id say this is where the issue is out. Players ego's get in the way, and they want more than a player they feel they were better than.
Personally I would think 2k or any video game company using a retired player for that matter, would just have a set budget, and every players gets the same cut for the use of their likeness. Then again that would be too easy to do,lol. Probably wouldnt solve the issue totally, as some people are just pricks no matter the situation.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11

Re: So No Steve Nash in NBA 2K17
It's possible. I remember last year they added a few guys in Q-Rich and Brain Grant or Bonzi Wells who were missing in the pre-release copy of the game. In 2K14, they added Dr. J after 1 month of release.Comment

Re: So No Steve Nash in NBA 2K17
2K could at least put in a fake player kind of like they did for NFL 2K4 before LaVar Arrington didn't want to be in the game. Maybe name him Stan Nelson with all of Steve Nash's attributes. MLB The Show did this with Barry Bonds (Reggie Stocker). I don't see why they just do not go this route.Comment
