My God I couldn't even finish reading this thread because you guys are such P*ssies.. Excuse my French but y'all never heard of constructive criticism? You bitch and wine about any negative comment anyone has toward the game & it changes the entire conversation.. Yall the real reason why the thread gets derailed.. How bout you just dont respond.. I only got to page 9 but every post I read was a legitimate concern but y'all act like we come on here just to troll.. What troll would post a reference video? Clearly the sound is exactly the same as previous 2ks

Stop policing the thread so 2k can get honest feeback..

Feedback is great dude. But there was ALOT of 2k bashing in this thread and it was getting old. Also, there was alot of speculation about what is in the game and people were making up their minds based on this 2 minute trailer instead of actually playing the game.

If the game is horrible after people played it and they're giving their opinions and feedback so 2k can make the game better, that's one thing but I mean damn the game isn't even out yet.

How can you POSSIBLY decipher how a game or game mode will play out from a 2 min trailer that only had cut scenes in it? Seriously.

Are you kidding? I was one of the first people that backed you when they got your favorite team's court incorrect.

Bucks court IS still f'ed up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable.

I looked at the short timespan in the video of the Bucks court and then looked at pictures of the real court. Am I missing something? Is it because in the game it's too dark? All the designs are there, the wood is right, the lettering is correct.

What am I missing? What's wrong with the Bucks court?

i don't get the people complaining about complaining. Just don't comment or read the thread. Go make a "i will always love 2k" thread or something. If i don't like a topic or a thread either i don't click on it or i don't care and go about my business. And thats what people do is critique on a ever day bases.

Hell i hate this thread but i read people disapproval and i'm fine with it. i know what i'm going to do with the game, the hell what they do.

Also it turns threads into a off topic argument

A lot of this is because we are hard core 2k gamers who want depth of information. We got that on 9/1 from Mike Wang's blog and then for two days with him commenting.

And then we got. . . nothing pretty much substantial. We had the Labor Day weekend and then trailers for casuals, mostly leading up to the Prelude, which is mostly focused on MyCareer.

By this time last year, with a later game date release, we had this, this and this. And those all had threads with questions answered by all those devs.

So now OS'ers are, in my opinion, looking at maybe (probably) not having that kind of depth of info before Prelude drops, which means not until probably Monday 9/12 or later, just days before early release on 9/16. And Prelude won't provide that missing information from last year's developer blogs.

So that would represent a big break in 2k marketing strategy, where hard core 2k gamers are an afterthought and not really targeted or engaged much pre release. And for a lot of this community, which was engaged to help shape the ideas of the next evolution of the game, that kind of sucks.

So the combination of that comparative vacuum of info, plus the feeling of community neglect, plus the feeling of withdrawal after all that great engagement from Beluba all have people a bit more on edge. . . even as there can be some genuine issues and questions raised by what the trailers show (or don't show).

They might not have the actual lighting effects like the dim crowds in MSG and Staples in the game but whatever lighting effect they did put in this game is making it look amazing. The game looks so much more realistic now.
