Not being able to see up court will 100% prevent me from switching. I also disagree with it being easier. The controls not matching up to what I'm seeing on the court just messes me up.

Sorry, back to the audio I do agree this probably needs some more attention next year and specified for individual teams.

I felt the exact same way until I got unaccustomed to it. It was jarring at first, especially driving to the basket. But with some work (practice) I was able to make it much more fluid. In my opinion, it felt like the camera that the controls were designed for.

But the 2K cam holds a special place for me. But I'm not a fan of it for baseline drives.

Seen more videos and so far, the crowd still sounds like last year with some slight differences.

"Go Nets Go" zombie chant is still in despite the fact we have never, ever used that chant at any point in our existence.

Yeah i heard that too. I guess the biggest issue with silence is when teams go on runs or hit big shots.

The crowd is unengaged and it throws the immersion off immediately.

On top of that the crowd doesn't have to start off on 10.

If you hit 3 shots in a row why not have them cheer at 3 then 6 then 10?

That's the modulation of excitement hear during games. You may think thats too much to ask but the competition does it.

Even if they can't or won't do that, it's still ok to have a couple different cheer volumes but that silent thing has been an issue for a long time.

Then there is the unexplained reason why they didn't just mic up the PA system and get the arena music and chants from there.

Its no reason to keep in those cheap beats and the zombie "go (insert team here) go

Go bulls go
Go lakers go
Go mavs go

All the while sounding sleepy and uninterested.

...its whatever though lol. We cant do anything about it

I'm sure they still play the soundtrackmusic during timeouts too

I agree ,the chant go(team)go are since i remember 2k5? the same with this annoucer.

He played without 1 day patch (7gb size).

I dont know if thats some college hoops chant or what but thats not used by any team. They made that up.

I wish Mike could remove that in a patch.

That 'if your happy and you know it clap your hands' song plays when games are basically over no matter what team it is also lol

Do any sports teams, outside of high schools, even use chants like this anymore?

I mean I'm sure a few do, but they're so cliche and generic that most teams go out of their way to find a semi-unique chant.

The "Go ____ Go!" chant sounds like a PS1 college football/basketball sound file ported over.

Usually sound doesn't bother me, but the "Go Jayhawks go!" chant in The Prelude really took me out of the immersion because KU says "Let's Go Jayhawks". I'm not a fan of one particular NBA team due to living in KS all my life, so I never really noticed what you guys were complaining about until I heard that. REALLY stood out.

Actually, most teams say "Let's go ______" now that I think about it.

Oh well. If I'm griping about a crowd chant then 2k is doing a pretty solid job otherwise. It's just that the little things like this are really glaring when the rest of the game is so superb.
