My expected minutes show ~15 per game but I'm playing way more than that. Almost as much as the starters. How long does it take to get the starter position?
I play for the Bulls and doing way better than Rondo in terms of PPG and APG. I don't even know how this would work because of Justice. Would Butler loose his starting spot? That would be insane. All in all I don't like having another "created" player in MyCareer. This mode should be about ME on the court. Not another fantasy player that takes minutes from my teammates! I also think the "Orange Juice" thing is stupid.

You can ship out Justice when the season is still Young.

Not really but if you can hit the open messages but quick enough you can.

The texts are still available after whatever event you go to if the happen during the day transition so you don't really have to worry about missing texts.

Well I got one where the coach messaged me like 4 times during the event then I couldn't reply

Hmm, I've never seen that happen. The only problem I had with this is when I missed the team owner inviting me on his private plane when I went to a open gym session but I never actually got the text invite from the owner.

That's because your team mates offense & defense attributes are based off of your attributes.No matter what there stats currently say(Dont believe 2k mycareer stats for your team).All of your team mates stats in mycareer come from your current attributes.Thats why they are block heads sometimes.Its because your stats are low. Your team mates don't rebound well because your mycareer player rebounding stat is low.

Its been this way since NBA 2k14/2k15.

When your increase your layup to eg:75. Then your team mates layup ability is 75.

When you increase your shots in post.You also increase your team mates shot in post.

You should notice that when you increase a specific tendency/attributes FOR YOURSELF that your team mates all of a sudden perform better in the same category you increased for yourself.

Bottom line you want your team to play better then increase you attributes in said category.

If your team sucks at rebounding then increase your rebound attribute/offensive awareness attribute. If your bigs can't score in the post then increase your post attributes(watch them play better).

If your getting dusted in fastbreak then increase your speed attribute. You will still get the invisible wall but your team mates will move faster down the court.

I've never noticed or payed attention to this, I have to test it out. Really disappointed if that's the case.

Official NBA 2K17 MyCareer Thread

Created a 5'7 PG Slasher. He gets down the court so fast, gets easy steals, & its cool to see him get up for dunks. Dunks are capped at 75 but I still get a nice amount of dunks to choose from. Is there anyway to expand it to say 80?

I Plan to use him just for offline, although I'm debating if I wanna continue on or change his archetype. I know I wanna keep the dunks but I like shot creator badges more.

Seems like it's destined for me to go through with this one though as I was finally drafted to a team I like, the Bucks!! Greek Freak is something special. Wish the roster was updated, weird seeing Carter Williams still on the team.

You have the option NOT to defend Justice when the "trade Justice rumors" start.

You also have the option to ask for a trade and play solo.

Hope this clarifies.

Nearing the end of my rookie season with the Bucks on Superstar. 3 games ahead of the Cavs in first place in the East but miles short of what the Warriors are doing. I play a sharpshooter SF but feel fairly limited/inefficient playing purely as a scorer, so I alternate between getting open for shots/cutting to the basket and running the offense myself via the pick and roll, getting bigs in for easy twos or kicking out to open perimeter players. Seems a way more efficient way to play, even though I'm an effectively a poor man's playmaker at times. I tend to only shoot when I have a ridiculous amount of room or if I get a good lane to drive for a dunk.

I love Justice Young being in the team given the Bucks roster, especially as a lockdown defender at PG cos the league is littered with awesome point guards and he really slows them down. Dunno whether to stay at the Bucks or maybe go to the Pelicans cos I wanna play with Anthony Davis. Justice, AD and my dude would be ridiculous.

The Bucks are lots of fun - Monroe is solid, Parker and Giannis are good if you get them clear runs to the rim, Justice/me/Middleton/Delly/Carter Williams can shoot the 3 ball.

After the next game against the Lakers I have a meeting with the Under Armor CEO and the Bulls owner. Big day! I'm lighting it up as a Playmaking PG, and I'm still 79 and coming from the bench, currently on All-Star though. Might switch to SS when they send Rondo to the bench soon.

Can't complain that much about the gameplay so far. Same BS as last year but you get used to it. I find the stuff surrounding the MyCareer more annoying. Like getting the same exact SMS from two different players, having to watch me walk out of the damn hangar every time, bugs like social media tab being empty on the player card and no MVP highlights anymore, just the damn annoying interview. Worst thing is that you have Ronnie2K in your mobile but can't text him to f*ck off!

I did a 2k interview in my warehohse. That's something I never did with my first career that's in the second season. I'm not even at all star break in this current season.

It was a cool interview nonetheless and a bit real in how try tried to simulate it. It felt long as hell like 2.5 minutes long lol

Just started my second season with my Post Scorer, and I have encountered a weird glitch.

After I won the title with the Lakers, I opted to stay with them. Our first home game had no ring ceremony, and the announcers are talking about me participating in All-Star Weekend.

Anybody encounter anything similar?
