Justice, 6'1 SG only, is playing Power Forward position.

Kawhi Leonard, 6'7 230 SF, is substituted to and playing as Center.

I am beyond frustrated rn after leading the team to start the season 32-1 ( I play for the Suns all games on SS so that was already a struggle) we hit a bit of a rough patch and lost at home to the clippers, but picked up where we left off beating them by 20 at Staples.

Next game is Slugfest against the Knicks and game is tied with 5 to go and Melo hits the most rage inducing layup over 3 people but it's Melo I get it. We advance the ball and then get ready to side inbound it with 1.2 seconds lefts and I have the easy cut and am spamming A as I cut to the hoop (I have On Court Coach) and Dragan decides to pass it instead to Tyson ******* Chandler for a three.

Kill me now!

I spent the next 30 min just looking at the trade screen to decide where I want to go. Finally decided to get over it the next best team was 4 games behind us and it was CLE who had Bron (I'm a SF).

Next game is with CLE and I completely shut Lebron down, in fact he has blue rings most of the game, and surprisingly Justice keeps Kyrie in check too. But of course Love comes out and drops 50. To lead them to a 15 point win.

Our record is now 33-3.
Next game against CLE again this time at home. Lebron drops 30 on me despite me playing good D he just kept hitting pull ups. But I went out and dropped 40 on him to make up for it.

Then we proceed to lose back to back games against MIN and Denver which made me beyond mad as they were all close games until u got subbed out and came back down 10+ (nothing we all aren't used to) but when I get back in for some reason the coach kept our reserves out. I was trying to get dimer at the time and was 6 away from my assist goal for that game and we were half way through the third so I continued to pass and only did so on open looks. The team shot 1-15 the rest of the quarter. Again starting to think about what position I'll play when I go to CLE or of it will put Lebron on the bench. Lost by 10 and ended the game with a career high of 10 turnovers as I was doubled the entire rest of that quarter and half of the fourth because for some reason the game wouldn't sub our starters back in or even some bench guys who normally get min. Most of the turnovers also felt like I was getting them just to kill my stats as they were me passing to an open guy who steps out of bounds after I pass it and it gives me the turnover for it or me getting doubled and the guy who SHOULD be open is standing right next to me not doing anything (usually a C who can't shoot and is to slow to drive just sitting at the 3 point line).

TL;DR
It was fun for a while and I'm going to miss Justice as he was one of the few guys who contributed I am none the less excited to be joining Lebron in Cleveland. I'm hoping t starts us both and puts me at the 2 or him at the 3.

Second game against the Bulls in the conference finals was completely different. Movement felt sluggish, dribble executions was extremely slow. Does anyone else have the feeling that your player feels different between games?

Don't know if you guys try to oop as much as I do, but it's hilarious how far the CPU will go to stop your oop when they feel they need to stop you scoring.

So I'm running a fast break and luckily, with this one, the paint was empty with no defenders. I run straight into it and call for an oop. JR Smith (defending) jumps from a step beyond the free throw line to block the oop pass out of bounds. During the block, his shoulder goes over the rim and his hand makes contact with the ball quite close to the backboard.

He could've done a VCxMJ forearm free throw line dunk with that jump. Personally, that was the most insane in-game jump I've seen. Obviously the animation didn't look too natural. I have a feeling the CPU just really wanted to block that oop.

FYI: I just unlocked the grand badge with just one HoF badge! Everyone says you need at least 3 on HoF. Not true.

Official NBA 2K17 MyCareer Thread

Made a playmaking SG, got drafted 11th to ORL. Funny I got drafted by them in the Prelude when I made the same guy basically.

I have 2 rings, MVPs, DPOY, and whatever else with my Post Scoring Center, so I'm taking a break. I mainly make a center every year to play with my people in Park, and since I'm never getting to superstar 2.

FYI: I just unlocked the grand badge with just one HoF badge! Everyone says you need at least 3 on HoF. Not true.

Thanks for that, definitely gonna keep trying for it then. Would you have to have a certain badge gold though? For example gold posterizer on an AF to get the grand.

Does your team play to your rating? My SG Slasher got drafted to the Raptors. I'm not much of a fan of this move since DeRozan & Lowry already hold the spots me & Justice will seemingly be taken but figured I'll let it ride for a bit. It could be very fun.

My player is rated 66 & I play on Hall of Fame. I'm playing well but the team is not, back to back blowouts. We did win the 3rd game of the season so I suppose it's possible we're just starting off slow.

As a Playmaker I have Dimer, PnR Maestro and Angle Breaker at gold and just PnR Maestro at HoF level. Nothing else.

No doubt, hoping its more of team chemistry. I wouldn't mind if it was a lesser team & not the Raptors.

On another note I feel I may be hindering DeRozan being on this Raptors squad. He's killing it right now in real life, looking for him to pick it up in the oncoming games & replicate reality. If not I might move to another team, although I would like to stay with one team my whole career.

Best defensive moment of MyCareer: I'm a 6'8 SF on the Wolves, late in the 4th Qtr, close game, I got blocked by Kawhi on a putback attempt, they run on fastbreak, Kawhi had a wide open lane, went up for a dunk, and I chased him down for a revenge block!

A few plays later, I drove on Kawhi, made a spin move lay-up, he fouled me, Count the basket and-1! That was his 6th foul. The Spurs went downhill after that. Extremely satisfying game.

So I started a new career and got drafted #2 to the Lakers and signed a shoe deal with Nike. My first Player I remember on Jordan the custom colorways were 7000 vc But this time on Nike they are Free. I know at some point I will be able to change Shoe endorsements and was wondering if I switched to Jordan would My custom colorways be free or will they be 7000 vc again?

I did advance to the Finals after beating Justice and the team that drafted me, the Bulls 3-1. Of course I go against the GSW in the Finals. Still playing on Superstar. Most games were very close but ONLY because my team plays terrible defense. I have to help everywhere. Sadly, it doesn't feel like a team sports to me currently. Offensive is a bit better but they can be a liability if I don't initiate the play. If I just hand them the ball they rarely make a good play or take unnecessary shots off balance with 15 seconds on the clock. Schröder especially is terrible for some reason.
Tim Hardaway Jr. has a low rating so he doesn't even play for the Hawks. I think that is because I started MyCareer before the roster update. I could need someone like him in the lineup.

I wish we could "reset" the Career but keep the player with all the updates. You know, update the roster, start from collage, do it again. I would play this game even longer if we could do that. But I can't justify spending all this VC again on a new player. At a certain point I just want to play the game and don't want it to feel like a grind. That is why I never make a second character, because of the huge amount of VC it costs to upgrade him again...

Does the CPU ever call timeouts when your on the bench watching the game? I was benched in the last 5 minutes of a close game (reached my minutes limit) & figured I would watch the rest play out since it was such a tough/close game. My team failed to call a timeout twice to get a last second shot.

The first time was fine because they got the ball down the court so fast to cut the deficit but with 4 seconds left & 2 timeouts the CPU just launched a full court shot & the game was lost. If its some sort of glitch that prevents the CPU from calling a timeout when your watching the game from the bench I may just have to sim the last minute or two like I usually do. I suppose it won't matter much when I'm getting starter minutes & I'm playing at the end of games.
