I get the cold/hot zones for real players but for a game this factors in too much. This is the first year I had problems shooting in the beginning so I never noticed how much the cold zones mess up your shot until now. Even with a "perfect" release, it won't go in for the most part. Now that I have experienced this mechanic I absolutely hate it! This has nothing to do with skill or anything. It's just another way to screw you over with. It's basically you having enabled "real shot %" instead of release. Especially since you only can turn those zones red again while playing matches on Rookie (because on SS/HoF difficulty you won't hit anything from there making it even worse). The practice mode should be for those kind of things since you can walk up to a spot and "practice your shot" from there.

What does "offensive consistency" even do?
Exactly. It's an issue for me. I have no problem with it mattering, but if makes far too big of a difference.

As for O Consistency, it determines how well you play on offense from game to game. I noticed this with Trevor Ariza in PNO last year. Some games, I wouldn't miss with him. In others, he'd end up 1-7 on the same shots. It almost seems like it modifies attributes from game to game. (Note, too, that last year Ariza had the Wild Card badge, so that could have made a difference as well.)

Sure there'd be ridiculous shots but my teammates would be able to actually make them. This team is brick city for whatever reason, though I haven't played a lot with the starters.
I did the same to get rid of Justice, also to the Hawks. Don't worry, it's normal. Team chemistry is still in the game and you start with 50 after the trade (you can see it in the NBA2k17 app). They play terrible, and don't pass the ball etc. It will go up and your team becomes better.

Good to know. I found out about the dribble practice way too late. It's also only available every other team practice. I hate it.

Concerning the shot meter issue I have, I captured a video of the problem I have.

      <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/zjH6OhyYFwo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

How is this slightly early? The shot meter is full. I can hit a green on red zones about 80-90% of the time. If you look at the circle it is red which means it's a red zone for me. Don't worry about CP3, he is sacking and too late. This would also happen if he wouldn't be there. I consider this a bug. Also because, as I have counted over about 10 games now, those "full white, not green" go in about 20-30% of the time, even if wide open.

Everybody else plays fine it's just a matter of how many touches they get. All advice is appreciated.
lol I can't even get him to take jumpers period in my SF career...plus he just got hurt for the 3rd time this season(he's only played 24 of 44 games thus far) with yet another high ankle sprain...at this point I feel like he would have been shut down for the season.

what do you need in order to be able to tell your teammates to shoot? I press square when I pass it to open teammates and they never do anything. On court coach? I'm a 6'10 Center Glass Cleaner

About the practice: The Offensive Consistency dribble practice is only available every other team practice and sometimes I don't even get a +1 regardless of how many times I try. Is this supposed to work this way? It will take forever to maximize this...

Funniest thing just happened in my 2nd All Star Game.
First timeout and all the black dudes on both teams are huddled up with the assistant(?) coaches screaming, while the only 2 white dudes (Hayward on the West, KLove on the East) are talking to the head coaches alone.
Couldn't help but notice how that **** lined up so well. Thanks 2k lmao.

Finished my 2nd season in mycareer. Won the chip with the lakers. Thinking about asking for a trade back to the celtics (team that drafted me) to see if I can restart Orange Juice. plus the celts managed to get the 2nd pick in the 2017 draft and the 1st pick in 2018, so they seem pretty stacked for the future. also melo signed with the kings lmao.

Team practice. Approach the coach on the sideline. If you can't press X/A to start the dribble practice you can do the sprint thing on the baseline. They switch every team practice.
