So started a MyGM save with the Warriors (Yeah, I know.)

1st year, won the Finals with ease vs Cavs
2nd year, dropped off a bit losing in the Conf Finals to Lillard's Trail Blazers (They lost to the Cavs in the end)

3rd year, looking through FA, sign role players, by day 11, I see a 34 year old Carmelo Anthony still on the market. Simmed a few more days to see if he would get picked up, still nothing by Day 17. So I managed to successfully pull off a 1 year deal for him, costing just $3m for the year.

Props to you. I couldn't do it. I'd be mad if they were my real life team because they're already so good. I like to be able to build. Nuggets are perfect for that.

Yeah I simmed the first two years with the Nuggets and picked up Melo as a "homecoming" type of thing. He's been good for us though. I also picked up Deandre Jordan. I still have Nurkic. I let Gallo, Faried, Jokic and Barton go in the expansion draft. Couldn't wait to get rid of those dudes. Well not Barton so much but those other guys yes.

Anyways, yeah we're not that good and Golden State has won two straight chips' against Cleveland. Weak. But i'm trying to get my team back to the playoffs. We shall see.

I play CPU vs CPU so I just rely on A.I. so most of my games i'm like

If you really babysit the league, no.

If you let it run wild, yes.

Im playing MyGM on PC so I have a trainer that I can externally edit players, make trades etc so its basically like MyLeague. Im micromanaging every aspec of it which is a pain, but it keeps it fun.

Having a tough time deciding what team to start mygm with.. I wanna play the mavericks always been a fav team and wanna get dirk a 2nd ring. Also like Harrison Barnes and wanna build with him too. There a lil tough to rebuild with the contracts and cap going forward. There owner has a two star patience level. But I also really into starting with teams that are the weakest and using the unknown players as in the nets.. they don't have a championship but they do have quite a bit of cap room which seems easy to build with. I do like Jermey Lin and some of their young players too but it will take time to rebuild with them and the owner only has one star level patience... Ughhh having the toughest time deciding! How easy is it to get fired from a team? As in how quickly does it happen? What teams do they give you a chance to get hired on and play with? Has anyone seen these outcomes? Are the outcomes common? Seems more realistic to only be starting a gm role with a bottom level team instead of a mid tier team in the mavericks. But if I do play with mavericks and get fired I would like the realism if I do have to go and work with a low level team like the nets if I have the chance too? Any help with the direction I should go in? Please someone help with feedback! So indecisive!

Thanks for the reply! But yes I can, just debating if I wanna go the challeneging route with default owner profiles.. I haven't experienced being fired this year or lasts years game. I've been sticking to myleague but I wanna go with mygm for the rpg aspect and feel like I'm actually accomplishing something instead of making my own myleague ya know?
I just have questions how it goes after being fired in mygm... and like how easy it is to be fired.
Have u ran into this in mygm yet?

It's all I play... it's pretty hard to get fired if you are playing a lot of the games because you will get wins.. It also depends what goals your owner throws at you.. (like get a 87 rated player) or whatever..

My squad is getting better running with the 76ers... Its been a process lol. Sitting at 5-3 currently and Ben Simmons just went down for 2 weeks. Now I'm only able to rely on Kris Dunn and Buddy Heild. Wish me luck

With the new 'start in offseason' feature im wondering what sort of stacked teams people have been able to create? obviously CPU trade "logic" helps alot.

On to my 2nd season with expansion team, st louis sound, i was able to sign CP3 and hayward to max contracts and resign gobert to another max! We got gobert from a trade in 1st season where we gave up some pieces plus our 3 future 1st picks cant wait to get back against our rival, okc thunder! We lost to them on a game 7 in th 1st round after leading by 16 in the 3rd! Watch out rus! Haha

Phoenix Suns 1-7 (player locked as Dragan Bender.)

Lost Eric Bledsoe/Devin Booker for 6-8 weeks in the same game. Devin Booker was our best player, averaging 21 ppg, and then lost Knight (day to day) the following game.

I just passed the All Star break, but I just ran into a weird bug, so I'm in a holding pattern at the moment.

Basically, I decided a few days ago that I wanted to move the Trade Deadline back passed the All Star break, to give me a a little more time to make moves since I control all 32 teams. That is normally no problem with the Trade Deadline on/off option. When I passed the deadline turned the option to off and spent a few hours today coming up with a bunch of trades to choose from. Then I get on tonight and there's no option for trades. The Trade Deadline option is set to off, but it stays on.

I had three files with my other two on dates past the deadline and I the the on/off option didn't work on any of them either. I even started a new MyLeague and simmed it to one day past the deadline and it wouldn't turn off on that file either, even though I was past the All[Star game when I was working on trades earlier.

I tried to go offline to see if there was some sort of new update or something, but that didn't work either. Deadline deals are one of my favorite things about the season, and I'm not sure if I want to continue on without them or re-start with a new team. This sucks.... if anyone can think of anything else I can try please let me know.
