Are you also noticing certain players are taking way too many 3s than their real-life counter part? I am just looking at some stats and Irving averages 4-5 3pt attempts in real life. But he's shooting 14-15 against me playing against the Cavs in 2K17. I will adjust his individual 3pt shot tendency down to 80 from 90 which was his default I believe with the stock Roster and see if that helps.

Could be a result of 2K Roster inaccuracy. I have always wondered how 2K derive these arbitrary numbers for tendency and attributes for their rosters.

But has anyone noticed that CPU players take too many 3s? CPU Kyrie took 14 3pt attempts against me and other players who have their 3pt tendencies above 80 are constantly taking double digits 3s against me. Probably this can be fixed by a roster tendency adjustment by those who have their 3pt shooting tendency too high...

Does anyone know the average amount of 3pt attempts in real life is by players like Kyrie Irving, Lillard and other guards who shoot 3s at a high volume? (Not talking about Steph Curry's) level but the level just below that) Should it be 6-7 attempts max instead of 14-15 attempts when I play NBA 2K17?
      Last year:

      Kyrie: 4.9
      Dame: 8.1

But what it comes down to is if for example Kyrie is taking 14 threes a game as an avarage, or if it happens from time to time (which is realistic).

It has happened in all 3 games I played against the CPU Cavs. Other players are taking roughly the same number of 3s that they are suppose to be taking and their 3pt tendency rating is roughly at 70-75.

I do not want to break the game by adjusting the gameplay sliders, so I will test the results with lowering individual player tendencies and see if it will give me more realistic shot attempts numbers from beyond the arc. (I see Curry's and Thompson's 3pt shot tendency at 99, which I may leave since they take almost double digit 3pt attempts in real life)

I'm not having guys jack that many 3's against me. I'm on Superstar, no adjustments right now. I jumped out to an 18-3 lead w/ the Cavs over the Warriors before they came storming back. It was the most gratifying blown lead I've had, haha.

I held Steph Curry to 8 points on 3/14 shooting(6 minute quarters), Klay to 4 points, and Durant to 10 points on 4/18 FG. I wish I would have been on the PS4 instead of X1 for this game so I could have saved it and uploaded it.

I'm having a really good time with the game right now. I used Press Camera, zoomed all the way out, and really enjoyed it. I may go back to Stadium Broadcast, but it was a different view, and a lot of fun.

Steph's floater is tough to stop, and the way that he tries to break you down is insane. I had Love switched out on him at one point, and needless to say, I got my ankles broke. Luckily McRae was coming to double and was there to contest the 3.

Since you play 6min quarters I believe that you won't notice the high 3pt attempts since it is a matter of time as well.

I played on 12min quarters which will result in higher volume of shots taken overall but the 3pt attempts by certain players are a bit too high compared to their real-life counter part. All other shooting stats such as Points in the Paint is perfect tho.

Maybe it has something to do with the way you play defense? In order to really see if there is a problem I think one should try various defensive strategies and different teams against the Cavs for say 10 games, and see how the averages stack up. Or try different games with CPU vs. CPU.

Didn't really look into that, but I do believe CPU guards with their 3pt shot tendency above 85 will attempt a pull up 3 whenever they can against the user and usually end up with double digit 3pt shot attempts (in transition or half-court sets) Players with their 3pt shot tendencies at around 75 usually take 4-5 attempts per game on 12 min quarters.

Either when Im playing tight defense with the L2 button held down or when I am giving space to Kyrie, he always seems to find a way to attempt a 3pt shot against me. Not saying I do not see other creative ways that the CPU Kyrie tries to score against me, but I am just noticing that the 3pt attempts are too high for certain players. It is most likely an inaccurate roster tendency issue tho.

Your player's awareness of defenders on layups is one of my favorite improvements so far.

Played four games so far and I like what I see:

                          - the first thing I noticed was the Shooting, especially the Catch & Shoot, it is fast, fluid, smooth, looks simply great
                          - in general, LOVE the CPU movement on Offense and how fluid the game plays
                          - Rebounding looks great, overall a lot of new animations
                          - CPU finally takes 3s without raising the slider to 100

FG% are too high (3 Games on Superstar, 1 on Hall of Fame), but I think this will be patched and if not, well, there are sliders.

The only real negative thing for me are the Post Game Highlights.
Last year they worked perfect (Xbox One), but this year the Player of the Game Highlight are very short and the individual Highlights are bugged it seems, some are extremely short and sometimes the screen gets black after a Highlight.
Anyone else having this on Xbox??

Anyway, overall Gameplay is great, honestly, hiring Czar might be the best move 2K has ever done.
I just hope they the don´t ruin the game with patches because some kiddies, who are not as good as they think they are, complain about the difficulity.
