Hi,

maybe a dumb question, and I'm sure there is a thread to it, but I just can't find a good answer. I'm not really into offensive playcalling, but I'm doing good so far, except the motion on offense. Sometimes, nobody moves or tries to get open, and my only choice is going to the post oder take a contested jumper. Everybody is just static. Any easy tips to get better results? Is choosing a freelance offense (motion cuts, scoring actions, space the floor) enough? Do I have to make adjustments in the coaching sliders or at the coach himself?

ya I couldn't figure it out for awhile either. Choosing your freelance style and tempo is a good start also if you don't know what play to call you can always call smart play (L1+Right stick down) and the cpu will set something up for you. I'm still not great with it, I wish you could set your quick plays (can you?) I call a lot of post ups but sometimes it's not an option for me. You have to know where the play you're looking for is in your menu or you'll turn the ball over looking for it.

Hey, thanks for the explanation! It got a lot clearer for me, I guess I can work with that. The skipping rotations is something I observed, too. Clarkson got the last minute of the first quarter, but there are rarely timeouts. So the second quarter begins, and Russel is playing again. Last night, I played two games and checked the minute distribution afterwards, and that looked good. The starters played the last minute of the fourth and the relative distribution worked.

I can't get my rotations to stick. They just go back to default from game to game.

How do you work around retired numbers on MyGM/MyLeague, is there any way? Do you need a roster editor?

Can someone explain to me (or point me in the direction to an explanation if it's already been touched on) how to full construct rotations? I've seen a couple youtube videos, none of which really helped what I'm struggling with.

My main struggle in constructing the rotations is how to change a players position, at a substitution. Example.

PG Tony Parker- 8 Minutes replaced by Mills (easy)
SF Kawhi Leonard-8 Minutes replaced by Ginobli BUT I move Kawhi to PF replacing Gasol.

I've been able to set rotations, but I'm failing to change positions how I see fit (i.e. moving Towns from C to PF midway through the 1st or inserting Dunn at SG)

Does anyone know the name of the double high screen play? I think it's either in the Clippers or Warriors playbook, but I can't find it.

I'm doing a 1 team controlled my league with the Heat, and I want to switch teams. Did they implement the feature where you can switch teams finally? I am in offseason and I don't know how to switch if they implemented the feature.

Noob question - is there a way to lead pass by icon? Like when I hold Y and my guy runs to the hoop. Can I pick which guy does that?

Don't know if this has been asked before, but how do you properly do a Put-Back lay up or dunk? It's annoying. The computer does it ad nauseam but I can't do it and I always get good position too. I'm a Glass Cleaner with every badge and still can't do it. The Controls say push X or flick shot stick in any direction but it still doesn't work. I push X and I just jump up to grab an offensive rebound. I flick the shot stick and it just does nothing.

In the advance rotations screen go to the minute you want to make the change then press triangle(ps4) or Y(xbox). There you can swap players as you like.
