Re: No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.
Online modes have their own sliders. So I can adjust them to match offline Superstar (which they currently are) or leave them the way they are. I just need to know exactly what numbers you guys like. Especially for the shooting sliders.

Re: No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought that attribute boosts for the CPU were supposed to be gone on HOF this year, and that ACE adjustments were how the greater challenge was to be provided. When I look at the slider settings and I see the CPU boosted up a lot over the User, it appears to be me to be the same as it ever was.Comment

Re: No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.
So what's supposed the be the skill level where the sliders are equal for both? I don't want an advantage and i don't want the cpu to get a boost. I want equal across the board, and for skills, coaching, etc, to determine whether i win or lose.
I play offline mygm. Xbox oneComment

There's a thread used by PNO players. You could ask them how they feel about the shooting for that mode.Comment

Re: No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.
Was the game scaled to Superstar/SIM like last year with HOF being purposely over the top? It was stated that the higher difficulties would mean smarter decisions by the CPU and not necessarily attribute boosts, but the boosts are still clearly there as well as the CPU still being faster on breaks and having uncanny awareness and recovering ability on loose balls. I've had instances where the announcer says I stole the ball and the crowd cheers but magically it falls out my hand right to the CPU smhComment

Re: No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.
I liked the out of the box "simulation" set from 2K16, what if we used those Mike? It sounds like everyone liked the shooting percentages those provided.
I also prefer both user and cpu sliders to be equal, no boost either way, other than the ACE AI.Comment

Re: No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.
Why would they lie about not giving the cpu shooting boosts on HOF?
I'm just sitting here watching my teammates brick after brick open shots while the cpu drains contested deep 3s. I'm just so confused lolLast edited by minwager; 09-18-2016, 03:18 AM.Comment

Re: No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.
Those aren't under-the-hood boosts. HoF sets the CPU shooting sliders high and the User's low. Tweak those to your liking and the problem will go away.
Mike, I think the confusion is the fact that any tweaks made to the sliders puts the difficulty to "Custom". It should leave difficulty alone, IMO.Comment

Re: No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.
I have come to the conclusion that if anyone on the other team decides to pull up from three it's going in no matter the situation in mycareer. I've been blown out by 20 or more for the past 10 games while leading the team in scoring and basic decision making. Idk what else to do other than bump the difficulty down and hopefully wait for a patch.Comment
