The slider adjustment was needed for user vs. User also. The games in our MLO have been alot better under these sliders. The default 50 for a good user was way to easy. The original reason for this post was hof user vs. User. The offline guys came in and did their thing and here we are.
No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.

He also said he would look at online play to see if any adjustments were needed.

Re: No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.
I don't wanna let the game use internet and updates so I'd like to input those sliders by myself. What should I change? Is it a change only sliders based or something inside the engine that we can't have access to? If it's only sliders based, can I have the modifications so that I can input it by myself? ThanksComment

But if you play on a different difficulty you won't get the update.Comment

Re: No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.
I just got destroyed by 30 after winning by 20 on HOF. This update is amazing.
I'll probably go down to Superstar because on HOF the awareness gap is too big. I'm loving the half court play but in transition i feel a little bit cheated (on HOF). They are quicker to react after a rebound and always a step ahead (but at the moment that's the price we have to pay to face a smarter AI on HOF)Comment

Re: No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.
I think it's for offline Superstar and Hall of Fame any modes.
He wants to know what the exact slider changes are so that he can personally make the adjustments and if he doesn't like the adjustments he can simply go back to the default settings.
The following is a post patch experience. There's no turning back if you bought the digital version and the patch has been applied. This is why currently I have elected not to connect to the internet.
Anyone have Beluba's posted patched slider changes?
I had Tristan Thompson and LBJ giving up easy points in the paint to the clippers by being "out of position". The twitchy animation that allows just enough space for the offense to get position to catch the pass in the paint happens a lot in the 3rd and 4th quarter. I've got to find a way around it. Even using shrink the floor or protect the paint, these issues rear their head. It's cheap, especially after playing great D up until then.Comment

It's not required if you don't connect to the internet when starting NBAk217. You can still play the game without connecting to the internet. I have decided to disconnect from the internet as well.

Why don't you guys lower the sliders manually? (MyGM/ML, of course)Comment

Re: No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.
To rectify the shooting percentage, I tried simply lowering both the CPU and USER FG% and 3PT% to 45%, also tried lowering it both to 40%. That made things more realistic. Just change those two factors and that should help the statistics look more realistic.
Just change the FG% to 40 - 45%
Just change the 3PT% to 40 - 45%
But it would be nice to know what exactly Beluba changed, so we could experience the same gameplay changes without having to download and apply the patch.
Side Note: Since I did buy the game, apparently the halftime and post game highlights work. Played 6 consecutive "Play Now" hall of fame games, 12 minute quarters, broadcast camera default setting and they still work. That was Saturday.Comment
