Re: No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.
With the new patch, the pace is still too fast? I'm wondering if the play style of the user contributes, both from the offensive and defensive front.
From an offensive front, if the user only users half the shot clock or two thirds of the shot clock, this gives the CPU the opportunity for more shots.
From a defensive front, if the user isn't playing solid defense, the CPU will have the opportunity for more open or easy shots that they'll have to take because they're good shots.
Playing with the original default slider (I chose not to download the patch), I can basically dictate the tempo of the game by using the clock on offense and playing solid defense, especially getting out on the perimeter to get up on the ball handler. Need to make the CPU use up the shot clock or as much as possible.Comment

Re: No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.
I tried HOF, not sure why. Biggest blowout so far. CPU shooting % is much better/realistic. CPU pace was better, but they're still getting a lot of free bees either by leaking out or one of my AI defenders falling asleep or getting caught up. They did seem to slow it up with the big lead which they had most of the game.
My shooting was horrendous! Worst shooting performance so far with a lot of bricks. I'm sure it's because the higher penalty for bad aiming on HOF. This particular game made me really HATE aiming with the absolute only pro stick more than before. I didn't know which setting turns on the aiming arrow, so I never confirmed which shots required aiming, but I bricked a LOT of hooks & turn arounds from the post.
And I'm sure I broke my record for turnovers. CPU seemed to get hands on a lot of skip passes and bounce passes off P&R that had been getting through prior.
It was only one game. I'll try Superstar tonight. My game on Superstar prior to the update, but with slider adjustments to match was MUCH better. I clearly am not ready for HOF.
Can someone tell me which setting turns on the aiming arrow?Shout out to The Watcher! Where you at bruh?Comment

Played TWolves (me) at Spurs on Superstar 6 minute quarters. Game was excellent. I actually blew them out. It was a very tight game, my lead dwindled away. I called the time out, and ended up making the proper adjustments on D, and fed KAT, and grabbing a great win. I can think of only 1 transition 3, and it was within the last 2 minutes of the game, with Kawahi trying to get the lead down from 9.
I'll post the stats from the laptop in a bit. Excellent experience.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.
This was a fun experience. I forced like hell with Russ and shot junk from the field in the 4th with him as a result haha.
Furious rally by Harden but had a key play with a nice drive and kick from Russ to Roberson for a corner 3. Free throws the rest of the way.
Gripe: The Nene 4 fouls in the first quarter. And then I went at him with Kanter and had him fouled out in the 3rd haha. Sub logic man.... long time 2K issue.Attached FilesComment

Re: No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.
Haven't seen anyone else mention this in here but there's something wrong for stat tracking on rebounds. I'm playing in Play Now so hopefully it isn't a problem in MyGm and affects league stats. This game is at half time, and as you can see it says the Pacers (me) have 6 offensive boards, and 21 defensive, 27 total. If you look at the Pacers box score, Paul George has our only 2 offensive rebounds, which is the correct number I believe. Also when I went through and added up all the Pacers rebounds, I got 22 not 27. Same thing with the CPU. It says they had 12 off. , 18 def. , 30 total rebounds. Compared to the box score, which had them with 9 off., 25 total rebounds.

One of the most funnest games I've had in a while. Summer League game on default Superstar. I was the Jets. It came down to the last shot. I went for the win but missed at the buzzer.Last edited by NYJin2011tm; 09-21-2016, 10:45 AM.Comment

It goes difficulty then adjust sliders. If you adjust the slider and not touch the difficulty it will stay on the difficulty you started editing.Comment

Seems to be going well here (I was the Sixers. Won on a Simmons layup with 1.9 seconds left)
Need to lower dunk in traffic frequency and up dunk in traffic success but otherwise feels good to me.Comment

Re: No simulation sliders this year. Out the box is default.
Played my first game post-slider bump against the CPU on Superstar difficulty.
Maybe it was just a one-off but the CPU fouled way too much. Half their team were in foul trouble by the first half and most was a result of silly reach-in fouls.
I think after three quarters they had a total of 25 fouls and I went to the line 40 times.
I was also cooking from deep (Real FG% used as well) but that was partly due to the CPU having poor defensive rotations.
I (Pelicans) ended up thumping the CPU (Nuggets) by 30 points.Comment

I've played 3 games with the new sliders on Superstar & the CPU almost always fouls me when I do any post move other than a fadeaway. I can't get any moves off in the post.Comment

As it turns out Superstar is my level for Summer League games. For regular season of my expansion team I had to go back down to AllStar. I was losing 66-38 on Superstar at the half of my first game against the Pelicans. As an expansion team I don't want to win all that much but don't want get crushed either.Comment
