I dont have a problem if i have to grind , thats a proccess and logic. But yeah this year the prices on atribute and stuff are too high. And why the endorsment drop from 4k to 100vc? Thats why many people think 2k force us to buy vc, thats logic. Actually im surprised when i see jetpack that cost 500.000 vc while i watching orlandoinchicago the first person who hit SS5 rep. I mean this is insane for basketball game.


Its not the first time i see a high price on game like mmorpg game such as expensive equip, mount, material, etc that make you must pay a lot of money to make you stronger and viable on pvp. I did it too. But i just cant believe 2k make this things on basketball game. People want to enjoy but just to buy sleeve they should think twice, thats logic people are say vc are everything on this game.

The big time companies like doing an endorsement for 2k, Jordan, Mitchell & Ness, Spalding etc used to give 2k-4k vc for every event.

Not the small time ones like the Bistro or whatever those small ones are called.

And then with patch 1.06, those same endorsements are giving ~200 vc now, even less sometimes.

If you look at your endorsement contract, no where does it say that they give you 2K-4K VC PER EVENT. It's just a few hundred dollars. So in effect, 2K CORRECTED A GLITCH. Just be glad you got to enjoy getting those free VC.

I myself did not get 2K-4K for every event, I maybe got it twice or three times, the other events gave me the same amount indicated in the contract. So either it was glitched, or there's a secret VC reward for a certain number of events attended. Who nows...

Yes, it is kinda mind blowing. There is no other logic behind this than they needed a VC sink, same with boosts. They only exist for that reason. The whole VC pricing scheme in MyCareer is bonkers, especially for items and such.

Problem with all of it is, that there seem to be enough people who are willing to pay all that stuff with real money...

Starting out with such a low overall given all the in-game hype about your guy is a little weird but I'm fine with the amount of VC earned. I only play on Superstar but earn enough for an attribute upgrade every 2 or 3 games, not counting endorsements etc. I'm just entering the playoffs in my first season and I'm rated 89.

It's definitely restricting/tedious if you want to make multiple saves and try different builds but I feel like the balance is mostly okay.

I currently have 4 different player types....and trust me it's IMPOSSIBLE to improve more than 1 player without buying VC with the way payouts work in regards to pricing. Granted I don't plan on upgrading the archetypes I dislike, but u can't really tell how well each archetype plays unless u upgrade them a bit. This is the 1st time in 2k history that I paid 10 real dollars for 35k VC, and frankly I'm still disgusted with myself lol.

They are bonuses, and they are accompanied with a text form your agent explaining that you received a bonus from X company. They are intentional. It was not a glitch.

All evidence of them being removed so far has been anecdotal, but if it's true and 2K didn't follow the change with an explanation, it makes their true priorities pretty transparent. I know for a fact on my first Mycareer save I no longer get them, but I that's been happening for a while now... I think there's something wrong with the file? I don't know. Annoying. #FIXYOURGAME2K

I don't really play anymore, but I did hop on to get the patches. Then played a game and stopped... but yeah, they were bonuses. I kind of felt like you got them after a certain amount of events attended. If they took out the bonuses, that's hilariously sad. It's not even like they were that big. They were big VC but not exactly common.

Went back last few days to my career to increase Free Throw rating because I last played before the patch that fixed that, and endorsements are really pathetic right now. What used to be 2-4-6k VC bonuses now are 116 & 145 VC bonuses.

So glad I glitched my way to max upgrades.

Honestly I don't have any issue with VC in 2k17.

I maxed out all MyPlayers abilities and 5 badges, bought a couple of sneakers and some accesories, tattoes and clothes for MyPark plus several NBA animations.

And I have around 80K VC right now.

All of that just playing the game and using sometimes the app.
