Mike Wang Confirms 98 Overall Players Don't Have Advantage; Won't be Punished

I mean if 2K doesn't care and doesn't feel it's an advantage, why not do it instead of having to reach Super Star rank in the park which is silly anyways?

If Mike says it's no problem, I am most likely just going to do it. Don't really want to play Park much this year anyways. Not as fun as last year.

You would get to the point where you earn 1 attribute upgrade.

You would get that attribute upgrade, then while it was loading back, you would dashboard. Forcing you to repeat that practice.

Repeat infinitum for all upgrades each time you dashboard.

Dashboard? Please elaborate - although I feel like this is a trap by Mike to bring out the cheaters so I probably won't do it.

I don't. He's a 2K developer. He can't say that it's basically okay to do that because it's no big deal and then when people do it they get banned.

it's not cheating in 2k eyes since you have to have the bball iq that most lack to be good.

it can be cheating (borderline ) if a player has the iq to play and he knows how to use his player.

but I guess it time to cheat since 2k doesn't care

No. I am not giving you a guarantee. I don't even know if you can still do it.

He didn't say that word for word, what he did say was slightly confusing but how I took it is they aren't going to do anything about it. So people aren't going to get banned for it.

so remove the extra attributes you HAD to get from playing park and reaching a certain rep and put them back into practice mode.

its okay people could get those extra attributes from doing glitches a week into the game? while others are grinding the legit way for it? if their is no advantage change the formula and let us get the attributes from practice.

i'd never want to see anyone banned but letting people slide doing glitches is never a positive thing whether you think someone gets an advantage or not.. anytime someone does a glitch now they'll remember this and bring it up everytime and what can you tell them? "cheating isnt allowed" ?? well... that policy seems to be irrelevant.

its like call of duty just releasing and someone has all the guns/perks already and they say "well theirs no advantage this guys probably doesn't know how to use the weapon anyway" its beside the point if he does or not the fact is he has the opportunity to perform at the highest level immediately and we have to grind to get to that point... why is that okay again?

LOL. Man I can't even say it's the dark side. If 2K doesn't care and it doesn't force me to play Park and reach Super Star rep just to get attribute upgrades I should be able to get by just playing MyCareer.

I don't even know if it can still be done. But I wouldn't mind some upgrades on my rebounding lol.

That must be my mistake. I thought he was talking about the shot meter glitch. Saying if someone's shot meter was glitching, my tuning was giving them an advantage. I was stating that people weren't getting an advantage from shot meter glitching, they just weren't going to get punished for very late timing as much. I hate twitter.

I don't think the developers have any say in banning people that used the glitch. It's most like up to the higher ups in 2k
