That must be my mistake. I thought he was talking about the shot meter glitch. Saying if someone's shot meter was glitching, my tuning was giving them an advantage. I was stating that people weren't getting an advantage from shot meter glitching, they just weren't going to get punished for very late timing as much. I hate twitter.

ignoring the actual pressing issue isn't really helping the cause here man.

really rather concerning that the first response to "people are knowingly and openly cheating in our game" is just stating that they mis-quoted.

The twewt Beluba responded to was a picture of a starting lineup in Park that showed a player has reached 98 overall without first fulfilling the appropriate rep status to reach an overall above 95.

The tweet was not implicating any merits of the shot meter glitch so ya Beluba response is very misleading now lol

I didn't even see the picture. I was tweeting about the shot meter glitch earlier so that's what I assumed that tweet was about. As for the original issue, that's not my domain. So I have no comment on it.

Guys, realize that devs are human and don't pore over each post/tweet a dozen times to make sure they have the context perfect. Mike saw a tweet that said:

within a day or two of him releasing a tuner specifically to negate penalties created by the shot meter 'glitch' (his response, "Not an advantage, they're just not punished for it like before", makes a lot of sense in this context). As this is Mike's realm and it wouldn't really make sense for people to be tweeting him about non-gameplay issues, why would he assume anything else?

I get that you guys are upset over cheating (believe me, I play on PC), but taking it out on him and accusing him of lying, misleading, or ignoring you on purpose only serves to alienate and discourage him from open communication in the future.

I totally agree - that's why I responded at first with doubt that this was true - it makes more sense now. On behalf of everyone here who may have shown disrespect to Beluba over this - apologies. It was a misunderstanding. But I for one wouldn't jump to accuse anyone. I think there is a problem with us as a community with always assuming that 2k is incompetent and doesn't care about us. I get there are problems with the game - but come on - it's not like they are intentional by 2k. Infact less issues means less work for them - so where's the logic in them wanting to sabotage us?. Unexpected Issues happen with technology - this is the truth. A company is only a group of humans who try their best to make the product work at it's best. Is there a guarantee that even if they say the game will work fine - it will? No - technology is still a mystery to humans in many aspects. To fix something an answer is required. They do their best to find those answers as soon as they can. And apply them. I remember just a few days ago we were thanking Beluba for his continuous support to the game and answering questions here unlike any other 2k employee we have seen. It seems we are quick to forget the positives.

I'd hope that people that work for 2K kinda care when people are cheating... devalues all of the hard work he does no?

even if it's "not their domain" i'd hope they would be more willing and able to direct the public to the correct people regarding concerns like this. and not act like they have a corporate gag order.

It's certainly not Ronnie and LD2K.

There is no structure for the public and the community to communicate with the people who run this game when major game-breaking concerns happen.

This isn't an indie title.

This game asked for 60$ up-front. Sold 100$ legend editions. And expects top players to dish out another 50$ in VC if they want to be competitive early for their E-Sport. And sells millions on top of millions in VC sales.

Game is also broken on launch.

So yeah. The LEAST I could ask, is for somebody in a position at 2K to say SOMETHING.

Well, yeah. And I certainly wasn't asking so he could get crucified for answering or not answering. It was just to see if they had anything on it. I mean, worst case scenario it's now obviously been brought to attention whether or not they knew about it beforehand. So the brightside is that it's known that this is something we care about.

I'm interested because I feel like depending on the answer this game will turn into glitching to 150 of 150, or people will be scared to cheat for worry of repercussions
