Sure I get what you're doing and it's perfectly reasonable - I'm just saying the right thing to do here is apologize to Mike for the misunderstanding and pretty much putting him on the spot - in a negative manner. We indeed could use someone who answers questions. But then again Beluba is the only guy who has been answering questions here. So the least we want to do is drag his name through the ground. People these days read only some statements and repeat everything - before you know it - your friends and their moms are trash talking about Beluba and his lack of professionalism. Social Media can be dangerous for a persons image. Like rose who is getting accused for rape - YouTube is filled with comments quickly assuming he is indeed a rapist. That's how things are these days. I agree with the wanting answers - the method though is just IMO harsh especially towards the only guy with enough commitment to be answering questions here in OS.

Yeah his response makes much more sense if you assume the original tweet is about the shot meter glitch.

Guys, realize that devs are human and don't pore over each post/tweet a dozen times to make sure they have the context perfect. Mike saw a tweet that said:



within a day or two of him releasing a tuner specifically to negate penalties created by the shot meter 'glitch' (his response, "Not an advantage, they're just not punished for it like before", makes a lot of sense in this context). As this is Mike's realm and it wouldn't really make sense for people to be tweeting him about non-gameplay issues, why would he assume anything else?

I get that you guys are upset over cheating (believe me, I play on PC), but taking it out on him and accusing him of lying, misleading, or ignoring you on purpose only serves to alienate and discourage him from open communication in the future.

I'd argue that it's fair to say that we (Mike and myself) are equally culpable for this fau paux.

He for mis-quouting, I for misattributing what he meant to say.

My apologies, nonetheless.

But it's also fair to say that he's in a much greater position to remedy things. (and make them a lot better)

And being willing to at-least try to help people find official statements on game-breaking bugs that affect daily PVP would go along way towards that

rather than "it's not my domain"

You dont know any of that. You dont know what his position is in terms of that. If the man says it that isnt his domain, meaning that isnt what he works on, then let him be.

who else do we ask why the game is broken and when it will be fixed and if we can cheat in it and why we have to play with/against cheaters?

I would assume it will be addressed in the next patch. Just for the record, is there a way to tell the difference between someone who cheated vs. someone who did the grinding?

I don't think Mike saying that 'it isn't his domain' means he won't pass the information along to the people who do cover that aspect of the game.

You do have to wait. Especially when it comes to programming. Unless you plan on getting in there and helping to program whatever code they have to write to address...just wait.

with no official word, the best we have on a game breaking exploit from 2k is:

"It's not my domain"

Thats not how things work. No developer is going to sit here and answer every thread, nor should they. Mike Wang is not all of 2K. He's one person. If the response is ridiculous, then stop supporting their product. Otherwise if you been buying the product all of these years, then you should know that someone is going to work on this. Its not about one guy, you, know whats going on. You have to be patient, or move on from a product you think is faulty. Thats consumerism.

To be completely honest this thread is full of bs. I don't see anywhere in that statement anything about an overall glitch there talking about the shot meter being a 98 isn't going to glitch your shot meter
And quit complaining about these people making shots learn to play defense and standing in front of someone is not contest. All I understand from these threads is that noneya know what defense is
