Yea it's bad was playing with my slasher yesterday i hit 4 3p in a row in 1 game with 44 rating and it wasn't corner shots.

Please Mike do something about it this is not right.

Also slashers are missing full white bar layups all the time but playmakers hits limitless 3ball and contested layups.

All pro am and MyTeam is is every player and archetype hitting open 3s over and over. Corner specialist badge should be removed for starters, as no one needs more of a boost to shooting when it's this easy already.

They had it at a good level for ONE day and switched it back, lame.

I feel similarly, from what Mike said about shooting tweaks being so volatile maybe it's time to go at the problem from a different angle and address the effect badges have on the game instead.

If they reduced how much of an artificial bonus to shooting the badges grant(coupled with at least a more consistent defensive bonus from defensive badges), it would probably much easier to get shooting tuned to a reasonable rate.

What a completely pointless badge lol. If you're a "Corner Specialist " then your hot zones should be red in the corners, that's it. Might as well add a "Top of the Key" badge too lol.

Someone suggested a "wide-open specialist" badge: exceptional shooter known for knocking down wide-open shots. I told him people would complain, "I'm bricking with wide-open specialist on HOF - wtf man" 😂

i love it in online play, too many people that just play offball d and bum rush to the net...this allows you to counter that.

When I loaded up my lockdown defender who has a 60 three point rating last night, I was expecting to finally miss more catch and shoot corner threes than I had been all season. Instead, every corner three that I took last night was a perfect green release. We have no playmakers or point forwards on our team, so all of these greens are coming off bronze dimer passes.

Corner threes in this game are almost as cheesy as they were in NES Double Dribble:

Players with a 55 to 60 three point rating shouldn't be able to consistently green corner threes, regardless of how many badges/hot spots are involved in the equation.

It's mad funny to think people have been doing that stuff for 30 years probably.

I played a bunch of park games and the game seemed OK, but when I played a couple pro ams, it seemed like people were getting way wetter. Maybe because more screens, dunno.

I dislike it, but as I said, I'm not overly mad because of how they 'fixed' inside. I think people should have to work harder to get better shots.

I had 3 players on Park last night, with 42 and 52 3 point ratings...freaking Glass Cleaners, hit corner 3s with no badges...

I mean...how is Park playable with any type of strategy when I gotta guard Cs with 40 3 point ratings at the 3 point line?

I bet Stephen Curry could go 10 for 10 from the half court mark.

high 3s are needed to combat the paint spamming. the under the basket poster animation triggers way too often along with defenders sliding out of the way, and jumping without me pressing the jump button. you atleast have to work to get open 3s.

So greens were already a joke on the frequency, and now full white bars are dropping an a high rate as well? Where is the balance Mike? Green frequency was supposed to be reduced at the expense of full white bar releases going in more. But now shooting is steriods, even for an MLO on HOF sim sliders. The update has made things worse not better.

Looking at Mike's Twitter a few minutes ago... I think going forward in this series there may be no hope that online shooting will ever again resemble real life basketball. He put up a new poll and you have 51% of the people saying that shooting is too hard.

The first response is a guy linking a video of a GLASS CLEANER greening four three's in a row from the top of the key one of them was Limitless Range too. This discussion has been over for awhile now if you ask me, no idea what kind of feedback he is looking for when that is possible man.

It's sad honestly. Just say F it and make it where if anyone is open and they press X it's automatically green because that's what most of the people that's voting it's too hard wants or they just are terrible at the game.

That's why I did not want him to start lowering the threes again because this is what he does. He goes back and forth and then we end up w/ it increased more than it was originally when he lowered it lol.

When he lowered it, I knew people would complain because it definitely was bad in my opinion for a lot of players to not be able to ever green in certain areas. But I knew he would keep going back and forth and he's constantly asking Twitter. Like I've said months ago, anytime he ask should shooting be raised they'll vote yes. When have they ever said shooting should be lowered or even just right?

Shooting is still very easy for me as a PM but I feel this is as balanced as it can get because like I said the way this game was setup. Even Mike acknowledged it. So why not leave it as is?

What I really don't get is I am sure Mike has the resources to see shooting percentages. I mean I can easily go to a park and look at players 3PT % and see most players not even SS's are shooting at LEAST 45%. But most good players is shooting 50%+. Myself is shooting 65% from 3 w/ a 72 rating. So it's not like it's impossible to shoot at all. It's actually easy. Some people just aren't that good at 2K and some are outright awful.

Why does Mike feel the need to make everyone be able to shoot just because the rating say they can? Make people realize that just isn't for them and maybe need to play a different position. Be a post up player, slasher etc. I like Mike but this being able to tune shooting on the fly has been a major pain because it's constantly being changed and then he's asking Twitter.

I made the mistake of reading the replies on that poll.. Infuriating honestly. And it's infuriating that >80% is winning by a large margin.. If shooting gets even easier than it already is, then I'm done with this game against humans.
