People complain about this yearly, but we've always been able to control audio levels. For good normal regular season games, I put the crowd audio at even or slightly above the commentary volume. For playoff games, I just max out the crowd levels and it's amazing. I heard there is a slight screen shake in big games and I feel like that'll really add to the atmosphere.

what i don't understand is why they don't have the crowd react as they do in the 4th quarter when teams go on 10-0 runs in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarters? they barely stand in the 1st couple quarters.Comment

Nice. But I wonder what's the difference between these guys commentating and the others. Are they gonna be like rare or something? I also noticed Sam Cassell on KGs wolves looks to have a better scan.Comment

I still think KG needs to be skinnier. He always looks 'bulkier' in 2K than he was in real life. In real life, in his prime, he was something like a more muscular Durant (maybe one size bigger on the jersey/shorts).My Specs:

Re: NBA 2K18 Trailer - Kobe & KG Join Commentary Booth
I do like the addition of Kobe and KG, hopefully they recorded a lot of lines.
Crowd atmosphere seems a little better? Tough to tell what's actually in the game and what's been inserted into the trailer. If it sucks again like it has the last few years, I'm crossing my fingers someone on PC can figure out a way to mod that.
Like the way the ball handling looks, Kyrie (and quick guards of his type) seems like he's got it on a string, very graceful.
Embiid's post move was nice, but I question why Gordon Hayward didn't help off from Ben Simmons -- seemed like the defensive AI was unaware that Simmons isn't a great threat from deep (but then again, Simmons is in a corner and there's no telling what the AI settings were -- it could have been strictly man-to-man defense).
Spacing in the paint seems to still be an issue -- the part of the trailer where Kobe is talking about threes and Steph Curry, the Warriors defense is crowded in the paint, while the Lakers offense is trying to run a pick in there too. I don't like the way Durant loses his man, his positioning seem whack -- he stayed out near the three point line, then ran inside to cover Ingram (it seems or maybe Clarkson), then the play triggered and Clarkson went through the screen. Durant was way out of position and Clarkson nailed the triple. AI Defense may still be a problem.Comment

I gotta see more, but i feel like the dibbling will be better in Live 18. I hate how the escape dribbles looked last year and it looks the same from the video. If anything Live 18 does right it's the dribbling. In the demo Kyrie animated with quick dribbles like how he does in real life. I also liked in the demo how you can have a bounce with the escapes in any direction and chain them. Everything else looked pretty good from this trailer. Still need to see more.Last edited by ForeverVersatile; 08-28-2017, 12:26 PM.PSN: ForeverVersatile

New/redone hand wrap at the 0:07 mark on Justise Winslow. As far as the rest of the video, spacing seemed to be improved in the half-court, especially in the Embiid-Horford post match-up.
Actually surprised to see Curry still garner a perfect release on a heavily contested shot attempt. I get that it's Curry, but I hope we only see this out of the elite players at a normal rate.
Kyrie looked pretty good with breaking down his guy and getting by, whether it was Fultz or KCP; encouraging to see that he exploded on his step to the basket or to get his shot off; no signs of him unnecessarily slowing down or being trapped in an animation to kill his movement.Last edited by Bolt957; 08-28-2017, 12:45 PM.PS5 PSN: MellowTheMyth | Xbox Series Gamertag: MelloTheMythComment

Everyone saying the crowd might be disappointing might be right, butt Ronnie did say that they were going to release an audio blog. I know that doesn't make y'all too optimistic, but it's better than nothing right?Comment

Source? I've heard nothing about an audio blog, it would be nice to actually get one this year.Comment

Re: NBA 2K18 Trailer - Kobe & KG Join Commentary Booth
I've been reading through comments of this video on youtube and i got the impression that people mostly complain about the shot meter. I mean, i just can't believe that someone would complain about that, i play without it, and this if you ask me looks better than the old one, kind of smaller, smoother, but i guess i don't understand things people complain about, we all spot something else.
"You should've left it as it was in 2k17" followed by the comment "this looks like 2k17.5"Comment
