Offline player here - I typically just play full 82 game seasons, 8 minute quarters, offline with about 2 teams throughout the full year...dont do the online or storylines and all that. Quick question- What do you guys put offensive and defensive awareness on? In my two first games of a season I noticed cpu stars not being really aggressive - first game with Thunder Porzingis only took 5 shots while Carmelo took 23 and they lost by 13. I changed my mind and started a season with Cleveland and Gordon Hayward only like 6 shots the entire game, although Kyrie went off for 31 on me. Upping the offensive awareness of the cpu increases their decision making and offensive execution correct? Not quite sure what it exactly does.

If only someone is rich enough to buy all haircuts, post in on YouTube and we can "try the style" from there...

How do you preview playbook in MyTeam? I have a balanced coach (Rick Carlise) but I want to see where the default positions of the players are for each playbook.

Its kinda hard to explain, but when you call a timeout while in game, the menu will show where each player defaults to standing to start the freelance, but I want to be able to see what that looks like for other playbook so I can buy one that suits my players. I currently have the Celtics playbook but it features my 4 in the left corner (and my 4's are Zach Randolph and Millsap) so the computer defences are able to sag off from that side of the court

Any advice on doing a euro step with the square button? Last year I'm pretty sure it was just double tap square, but this year it says double tap square and point the left stick toward the offhand. But wouldn't moving the left stick toward the offhand just move the player in that direction, or does it just have to be basically simultaneously (which is pretty tough)?

Also I'm missing a lot of layups in general. And with no shot feedback on layups I'm not sure if I'm letting the button go too early, too late or if it's just how the game is supposed to be

Is anyone else struggling with defensive matchups getting out of whack during the game? I often one or two player specific matchups at the start of the game, but later in the game after a few substitutions my matchups get completely shuffled. Then I go into the matchup screen every player has someone assigned to them (the wrong player) and I have to reset each one.

Am I the only one having trouble dunking? I have 1 dunk in 6 games... I have been playing 2K for over 10 years and never had this problem before..

Yeap. Playing PNO, as soon as I make a change in assignment, after the first substitution, all my matchups get changed around in the worse way. I talking bigs on little guys and vice versa....

I think its because sometimes the game doesn't auto switch who players are defending.

So for instance, I can switch my sf onto the pf, but the game won't make my pf automatically take the sf. Under matchups it'll show both the sf and pf taking the pf (its been like 50/50 for me). Then theres also the glitch where the quick menus bug out and when you press the assigned buttons to switch it doesn't really register, and this can further mess up the matchups.

I find the best way to do it is to NOT use the L1 button to switch players, but rather go directly to matchups in the pause menu

This is what Mike Wang tweeted about that.
