Trying to get more foul calls on 3 point shots is still a minor concern. It still happens less than 2% of the time and almost always on a pump fake where Harden does it and many hate it. I would like pump fakes to be a little more effective though. Would be nice if there was a slider for it.

I think 2k know this problem that break the game...

It is like that since day 1. They should've figured it out by now. I'm not sure if they can fix it, i hope so. Because pump fake is very often used in the NBA and it's mostly effective. In NBA 2k18 there's no such thing...

I had an amazing comeback win in Eastern Conference Semi Finals Game 1 against the Philadelphia 76ers.

My Pistons barely escaped from Bucks in 7 game series and Philly downed Cavs in 7 games in 1st round, the first game was played at home.

Philly was up by 14 with 3 and half minutes to go where I literally gave up on the game and started full court pressing to force some turnovers for extra buckets.

I cut down the lead to 10,8,6 but i was still not hopeful of a come-back.

They couldn't score !!! The couldn't score any buckets in last 3,5 minutes, my Pistons finished the game with a 21-0 run and won the game by 7 !!!

If this happened against me however probably I'd have said CPU has cheated. The shots that I took during that time were mostly drives to the rim and Embiid got fouled out which helped me also. I got a lot of 2+1 opportunities and Philly turned the ball over a few times and made very bad choices offensively (contested shots from midrange over and over again) which helped for this comeback.

So before claiming CPU cheating and they are making impossible comebacks because of it we have to think about this experience. As a user you can get impossible comebacks too !! It's not cheating, it's a hot streak


Anyway it was an amazing experience but I'd really be okay if my possible comeback fell short because Philly really deserved to win. They are a very tough opponent, they eliminate my team's strengths ( interior domination) so i don't know how the series will go on but it will be a fun experience.

Its just the sheer fact that basketball and the way sports work, cant be duplicated in a video game.

I guess being ignorant or naive helps you enjoys these games more. Its people's competitiveness that makes them bash the game and get angry at it for cheating them, which doesn't surprise me , if your trying to win and see something blatantly cheat you infront of your eyes, and in some modes with the replay system in which you could confirm right away, some people just cant stand that. Its just the sheer fact that basketball and the way sports work, cant be duplicated in a video game.

At this point your literally adding nothing to conversations and flat out trolling suggesting people are ignorant for enjoying a game. Not everyone has to share your misery.

Nah, anyway, there’s actually no better feeling for me than the other night. I was using some fantasy drafted lineup against some other one in the MyLeague. Down 21 in the 2nd on HOF, I thought I was cooked. I think the other team was like 21-26 in the first quarter on field goals. I felt so defeated, and really didn’t wanna play anymore. But I kept playing my game, and before you knew it, we pulled out the 3 point win. Unfortunately, the cpu still is atrocious at game-tying, game winning field goal attempts. Hopefully one day, they get that sorted out. Offline is sometimes a truly rewarding experience, whilst online is just so cancerous.

2k should bring that clutch slider/setting back (I believe that is what it was called). To me it seems there has been a massive uptick in complaints about AI comeback logic, since that slider or option was removed.

Ball security is absolutely garbage... I'll have a man streaking wide open to the basket and he freaking fumbles the ball EVERY TIME... and I'm talking guys that are known as pick and roll rim runners dropping the ball and turning it over... I know it happens every once in a while but it's happening all the time ... the forced turnovers by the game is obnoxious... and when I lose the ball I rarely ever get it back... the CPU loses it they not only get it back but they get a wide open shot because my players were out of position during the scramble...

Man i'm not ignorant nor naive,

I'm playing Nba 2K games non-stop since Nba 2k6 !! That makes 13 games !
How can I be ignorant ?

Naive ? I stopped playing 2K16 and 2K17 after a month since i didn't like the game, had a lot of issues, couldn't solve the problems with sliders so i went back to 2K15. IF I was naive and if i liked any game from 2K I wouldn't do that too.

There are times when I get very angry playing this game -2K18- and I sometimes feel like breaking the pad... But I'm enjoying the game and I'm being honest with the experience, I'm not biased.. Not towards not against.

So please do make some research before makig a claim about me. (Naive, Ignorant...)

I'm not saying a word to you about you whining about the game, you can feel however you wish, it's up to you. You can hate the game, it's entertaintment, not important, one loves the game, one hates it. I don't care... You shouldn't care about others enjoying too

so, guys, how is the game playing TODAY? I'm getting 2k18 in a couple of days but i'm bit scared the game is already broken (again) due to patches and stuff. I downloaded The Prelude and played the 2KU mode and it felt GREAT (player movement, shooting, player likeness, etc). I'm a offline guy so I don't care about the online stuff (but i may need to download some of the roster updates. btw, is there a way of getting them without downloading the freaking patches?!) Aprecciate y'all !

This only happens in real life when nobody is around the rim and the rebounder comfortably grabs it with one hand.

I agree that makes sense but i mean this animation pops up in traffic and frequently and most of the times
You see this clipping going thru bodies and normally its impossible to lean back like that with one arm stretched out behind the back and control the ball without losing it ?!?!?!?! Im done im confused i dont think these programmers take physics in consideration. This is just unacceptable
