after playing some My League games, I now have a better feel for my impressions.

I cannot emphasize this enough:

YOU DON'T HAVE TO ADJUST SLIDERS TO GET SHOOTING % CORRECT. ITS HANDLED BY GOOD DEFENSE.

the best part of this has been the close shots. no game has ever truly felt life defense forced the miss as much as 2k18.

I just had an exchange with the kings (me) and dallas (cpu). Randolph / Cauley Stein vs Novitski / Noel plus assorted others. my possession. I missed because of Novitskis defense. I grabbed a rebound and went back up, it was tipped by someone in the key. the ball bounced around the rim and then off some hands and Stein gets possession and goes back up but noel make me miss, one more offensive rebound and Randolph gets it home.

it was the most realistic inside game exchange I have ever had. it was RL in a video game.

there was also an exchange with a ball slapped out and the players struggled to pick it up but it looked like RL, not a clipping animation video game.

finally, I love driving and missing because I just realized de'arron fox is not ready for nerlens noel and I am going to get blocked.

earlier I stated shooting % might be a little high. but that was just Houston kicking my sorry butt around the court quite easily. the other games have been spot on.

Anyone else feel like bigs are WAY to OP this year? Once they get the ball down low (by pass or rebound), it’s over! Nothing I can do about it. That’s what I’ve noticed so far from Play Now Online and myTeam.

Also in PNO, I can’t seem to get a “fair” game in. It’s still cheese city unfortunately.

The running animations in this game is really bad. Kills fast breaks and plays. So far running the triangle isn't as fun as 2k 16 and 17. I'm playing all star and all the current teams seem to be super human. Played the nets and mozgov got 5 straight offensive rebounds. Gameplay seemed better last night for whatever reason

One thing I noticed right away is that you can't listen to 2K beats in-game. Unless I'm missing something?

I noticed this too. Guys running/sprinting on fast breaks without the ball look almost exactly like the Scooby Doo gang. And that's not even an exaggeration.

I won't say that the bigs are OP, but you definitely know they're there. I haven't did PNO yet, but I've been wilding out with JO in the quick games.

Yeah, I somewhat agree with this. I've been dominating with Whiteside, almost Shaq like.

To those with framerate drops. Try re-starting the game after the download. I finished downloading and went directly into a "play now" game and experienced pretty significant frame rate drops.



I closed out the NBA 2k application and re-booted the game. It appears to be playing at a smooth 60 fps now.

Restarting the system fixed my issues as well.

Why is there a max limit on how many MyCareer / MyGM / MyLeague saves you can have? It's limited to 10 between all 3 modes. Should either remove the limit or increase it to 20 or something.

This game is hot🔥.. I'll get into small nitpicking but I love the way the star players should play like and team tendencies. It's a dam shame 2K doesn't make a NFL or NHL game.
