    Timberwolves receive: Terrance Ross

You get a 3point shooter with decent to good defense who’s still relatively young, and shed Aldrich giving Patton more time for developmental minutes. 1st Round Pick is years in the future when you will have prime KAT and Wiggins.

For Bjelica, he is tougher. I came up with:

Grizzlies Receive: Nemanja Bjelica, 2018 2nd Round Pick

    Timberwolves Receive: James Ennis

T-Wolves dump Bjelica onto a rebuilding Grizzlies team and receive Ennis, as the team has a lot of SF’s and some young ones they would like to see get playing time, where Ennis was taking up minutes. He’s also on an expiring with decent D and good 3point shooting.

Hope these are good enough! There are obviously higher quality players out there, but I think these are realistic and solid bench options for a team trying to make a deep playoff run
Thanks you. That is a more realistic scenario. Ross is a really good bench player for my taste.

Thanks. Never thought about Robinson. Good advice in comparison to the Ross trade from CrimsonHawk.

      Hard decision for me.
      Ross or Robinson III

Ross is the better skilled and experienced player. Maybe a sixth man of the year contender like Crawford. Maybe those two are too equal.

Robinson is younger, his contract is way smaller. Slightly better on the defensive end. True role player. I think Indiana won't give him a true chance this year.

Maybe I should go for both?

And another mind game. Extracted from the others.
Is there a realistic chance to get Ibaka from Toronto?

Maybe Gibson or Dieng could be in that move. Contracts are nearly even. So I would prefer Dieng to stay if possible.

So combined one of them with Crawford, Shabazz, Bjelica or Aldrich. And picks.

What do you think about that?

Playing as the Nets in MyGM, off-season after my first year. Just drafted a stud Center (85ovr) 2nd overall. Looking for a realistic trade to move Mosgov and his huge (now two year) contact. Would prefer a nice PF on return to split minutes with Trevor Booker or draft picks.

        Any suggestions?

Unless your adding a major asset or taking back another really poor contract nothing is realistic. That contract was part the price paid to get Russell.

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread

First post in here so go easy on me guys.

I'm trying 30 team control for the first time and coming up with trades for teams I don't follow every day, and doing both sides, is hard, and that's why I never did 30 team control before!

Anyway, I'm trying to move Boogie from NO. I've considered a deal with the Wiz that includes Otto Porter, another player, a pick, and rondo on the NO side.

I'm also considering a "realistic" trade in that it would be something the Knicks would do, go for the long-shot, quick fix, rather than a full rebuild. Right now I've got Boogie, Asik, and Rondo headed to NY for Enes, Beaseley, Sessions, and NY's unprotected 1st rounder in '18 (which looks like it could have best odds of being #1).

I figure Knicks would be happy with getting Cousins, and as always OK with taking on a bad contract like Asik and a name like Rondo. For NO, Kanter is just a piece to make salaries fit, Beaseley is decent, cheap, and on a 1 year deal, and Sessions is also cheap and 1 year. Is this too much for Boogie on an expiring contract? I could always make sure he re-signs in NY (which seems realistic enough for him) as if there was some sort of agreement.

Thoughts? Stick with the Wiz trade everyone's talking about, a typical splashy/possibly misguided Knicks trade, or something I haven't considered yet?

Hmm. That Knicks trade is steep and classic win-now Knicks, but their new GM (dude from the Kings) knows he can't pursue that path -- Porzingis is watching what the front office does and going after a player who is another big, who will eat up more time at the 5 (where Porzingis might naturally fit in this pace and space era of the league) just doesn't work. I think NYK would definitely hold off and draft with that high pick, tinker in free agency, then take back a Boogie Cousins (even if you guarantee he signs there long-term, I don't like the idea of him and Porzingis together, it just doesn't work in my mind).

I like the idea of him going to the Wizards -- he and Wall are tight, and definitely he's a threat to sign there in FA if the Wiz can find a way to clear cap for him.

I don't know if Otto is the guy that NOLA would want -- can he be a number two? We know Holiday isn't. I also don't like the idea of Davis at the four without a true (good) center on the roster.

I think a deal involving Oubre or Beal, plus Mahimi or Gortat, and a future pick (say, 2019 lottery top-10 protected) works. I, personally, would go for Beal if I were NOLA -- yes, he's a bit more injury prone than you'd like, but Beal's shooting is stellar and NOLA desperately needs shooting. Plus, Beal is a scoring threat that NOLA has never had and his floor-spacing would be more helpful than Otto's all-around game or Oubre's still-not-fully developed game.

Beal+a center+a future pick (more protections if Beal, he's more valuable than Otto IMO) for Boogie+filler (Rondo, Asik, whatever).

              My thoughts.

Old guy for slightly worse old guy and role players they have no use for? I don’t think that will fly with Toronto. Dieng is almost a formality if you want Ibaka. He can do a lot of the same as Dieng, playing both the 4 and 5, but is older. If you do Dieng and Bjelica for Ibaka and Siakam (who is struggling for minutes on the team) along with a 2019 2nd Round Pick swap I could see them being okay with this

                  Thanks for your thoughts!

That is a good point about KP on the Knicks, I hadn't even thought that it'd basically be sending Boogie into the same situation he's in right now with Davis.

I hadn't thought about Beal though because I figured he was basically untouchable, but you may be right.

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread

I bought 2K18 yesterday with Wolfenstein II TNC for 69€ and started directly a Bulls MyLeague.
After 14 games we have record of 4 wins and 10 losses. All injured players are back (only Cameron "The Tank Commander" Payne is out for 2 weeks).

So it was time for a trade.

Today I saw a post about Philly and Okafor. So I thought: let's trade for him.

I think it's not a really realistic trade, but it's okay for me.

                      PHI: Robin Lopez
CHI: Okafor and '18 2 Round (Nets)
(was a idea from a user on RealGM)

I think in real life they would trade Portis for Okafor, but Portis is the second PF behind Lauri in my career.

That's my team at this moment:

                      PG: Grant/Dunn
                      SG: LaVine/Nwaba
                      SF: Zipser/Valentine
                      PF: Markkanen/Portis
                      C: Okafor/Felicio

Mitotic and Payne are also on my trade block, some ideas where I can trade them?

I think Portis for Okafor would be the realistic one, also in real life.

No way would 76ers trade okafor straight up for the sidekick (Robin) let alone... throw in a draft pick on top of it.... they're not the Knicks!!

Okafor doesn't have much value. I'm not even sure if he has any.

RoLo is a way better player and he would be a nice veteran addition for the sixers to help them win. His contract isn't the best but they have enough cap space.

I think I would have added a 2nd rounder going to Philly because of the contract.

I don't like the trade but It's for a different reason than this.

The 6ers would basically trade Okafor for a bag of basketballs right now. However, what they're not going to do is move him and take on salary.

I think they're hoping to use this season to show FA's how much potential the "FEDS" have and are hoping to land a big name next summer. They already tipped their hand on that whenever that overpaid Redick and Amir so they would sign one year deals..

Chicago wouldn't be a bad spot for Okafor, but with Embiid, Amir and Holmes already Lopez would just be overkill. I'd look at one of their younger guys or maybe Holiday instead.
