Narrowing it down to shot creating post scorer center around 270 lbs and 7 foot 3 or a sf/PF two way build

Really want a Draymond Green player capable of guarding positions 1-5 but it’d be too hard to make

Geez. I guess the center position really is dead. Personally, I had fun with my rim protector.

I'm changing my stance a bit with these new dribble mechanics. I've never been a dribble god but i understand giving someone the 1-2. If they open it up again and i can finish I'm gonna be a problem. If i can hit a 3? Say goodnight.

I had a rim protector, stretch, and pure post...trust me center ain't dead.

But I always wait and see for a little before I make my center builds.

Is 7'3 max weight gonna run as fast as guards in transition again? Is strength gonna outweigh actual post mechanics etc etc..I feel like big men and guards are the hardest to gauge as to making it day 1 lol

I’m just going to compromise and make a rim protector and a shot creating post. Ima make the shot post a bully and the rim protector a mobile guy.

I think i mess up day 1 trying to make that perfect build. Last year my actual first build was a 6’ 10” power forward playmaking post scorer. Idk what i was thinking. He would’ve been worthless this year. Ima go safe and make a build i know will be owning people at 95 and higher overall. Shot creating post scorer should survive any patches 2k throws at us

My first build was a 6'10 max weight sf, slashing shot creator.

Didn't know the build would be so big as it got with like everyone using it, but I made him way too slow to be a SF lol

I'll be making a center for sure, will have to wait to see how the game plays and how archetypes change to nail down an archetype but builds I've had success with in 2k18 include a Rebounding Stretch and a Playmaking Stretch. I'll also make some sort of post scorer to just have fun with offline as well.

Yeah wait on those stretch secondary builds

2k i think reworked the contested 3s percentage so people don’t make as many with a hand in their face. That’s a big deal for bigs putting sharp as their secondary

I’d honestly wait on any sharp secondary at any position until we see how shooting is.

Sharp primary or pure will probably still cash out

If any position is dead in 2k it’s definitely the traditional PF .

On another note I’m thinking about going with a short , quick , two way sharp similar to KCP or Klay but 6’5 .

Probably a 6'10" PF Shot Creating Post Scorer, maybe 6'9"

i play bigman and will probably be going with the big body

A post primary/Rebounder secondary 7'3 340 max wingspan and shoulder width

if i make a 2nd player it will either be a pure lockdown or a mixed lockdown build

I really hope they get rid of the 7'3s.

Both those builds are stretch primary, but I don't play like your typical stretch. I'm constantly setting picks on offense, on and off ball, and very rarely just spotted up. I'm also a facilitator first by nature so I don't shoot the type of bad shots that too often get rewarded in 2k18, rather I'll swing the ball or attack the close out while looking for an open man.

I really would like to make a 6"11 shot creating post scorer but I don't know if the problems with bigs will be resolved.
Will there be almost no difference in speed between a max weight 7"3 Behemoth and my build?
Will there still be people falling into blocks instead of fouls?

If all of this remains true, which I bet it will, Im going to run with my 6"8 SF Slashing Shot Creator again
