PG 6'6 or 6'7 play/shot. I run the 1 on my pro-am team. I'm currently a shot/play(1st). I think I may switch it so I can score more if need be. We often play with 3 or 4 people, so sometimes our shot/sharp wing needs more help.

I'm going to make a second build, thinking of a lighter 6'10 PF defensive primary archetype (not sure about secondary, rebounding or slasher). I want a fun defensive oriented build, probably go below standard weight for speed. I currently have a 6'9 shot/slasher and he is fun, but sometimes I'll be the biggest guy on our team (when our pure rebounder can't play) and can't really contest or rebound with the bigs in the paint.

I want to be a fun offensive big, maybe a shot creating post or something. Just need to see if there will be any reason to make him less than 7'3" (I hope so).

Will probably wait a little to commit VC to a build tho and just run whatever glitches are in at release to farm VC

everyone will just make the 7'2 max weight then which isnt much of a difference. What they need to do is cripple the stats further for big men with max weight and height.

i think its truly hard for 2k to nerf them but still make them appear fun to play with

Probably start with a 6'9 sf sharp point forward. Cant wait to see how defense especially lockdown primary will work this year. I usually make a PF build similar to draymond

I'm curious to see how they make changes to archetypes. I don't have a problem with dual archetypes. I just there was more flexibility and freedom with the builds. I just want to be able to create the type of player I want without being limited.
I understand limiting builds for online, park, pro-am, and esports. But as a offline player, I want to be able to create the player without limitations
Hopefully they improve secondary archetype for some builds. Because if the builds didn't mesh, it wasn't a good ideal. Because my ideal build would be a 3 & D 6-7 wing. With On Ball defense improved, that would be a good one to have. But last year your 3pt rating was in the 60s or you weren't good enough athletic enough to defend opponents. I want to create a Klay Thompson or even Jaylen Brown type of player

Probably a 6'10" pure sharp PF and max everything rebounding defender center as my secondary.

Do you play park? This was my initial build and I deleted it twice out of frustration. As a big man you could probably get by, but as a wing it is infuriating; the defense isn't game-chaging enough to give up basic things like being able to make open shots.

I have a 6'10" 250 sharpshooting slasher SF and it's pretty capable of this.

I've had some success with the Defending/Rebounding build; imo it works for front court players, i've actually been the most effective with a PF/SF even against taller guys (think Dennis Rodman or Ben Wallace).

Feel like they should just make 7 foot the max. OR actually balance gameplay correctly lol

                    Last year I was a Shot Creator/Sharp 6'5" PG.

                    I think this year I'm going with a Shot Creator/Playmaker 6'5" PG.

I might go with a 6'7 SF that plays like kawhi or sg/sf with shot creator primary. Im also thiking about a center or a mobile pf.

I hope 2K releases some type of spreadsheet breaking down the archetypes/builds when the Prelude drops.

Don’t feel like waiting a week for the community to figure it out, plus 2K needs to start being transparent with that information since this game is being played competitively now.

We need height/weight breakdowns, badges, and actual numbers for the attributes.

I'm not getting my hopes up. They might throw us a little nugget here and there "You need 86 for boost" and then neglect to tell everyone you might not get there until you're a 97 with your build.
