I want to make the modern day PF , you know guys that can play the 4 or 3. Instead of making a PF and then a SF. Just one player.
But I wouldn’t be able to hold my own against 7’3 centers.#1 Laker fan

Told my boy this last night. If he just made a SF this year then he would have been able to hold his own 1-4. That's about as much as you can ask for a single character.Comment

Been running a two way SC all year . Almost 95.
Defense secondary has barely been useful.Comment

Another year of overpowered offense? Can't say I'm shocked at all....My Park gets boring real QUICK if all you see are a bunch of pure sharps. 2k should scrap the word balance from their vocabulary lol
Besides I'm tired of 2k's versions of parks. Live seems to have the real parks exclusively licensed? That's a shame if they are..I really like the variety and 2k really lacks in that department.Comment

Re: Assuming archetypes are similar in 2k19, what you making?
This year I mainly played on my 6'4 sc (first)/pm that I built day one. I had a fair amount of success. Winning records in park, walk-on, and the few team pro-am games I played. However, I did feel limited at times and ended up with 3 other my-players all trash imo (pm/sharp, sharp/slash, post/sharp). I need athleticism in my game, and am not a fan of camping the three point line.
I'm going to try to focus on two builds next year and want to try playing off the ball for the first time in 3 years (we'll see how that goes).
1) An athletic off-guard who can put the ball in the hoop, so i'm thinking 6'7 SG sc/slash
2) A defense focused, athletic big man. Protect the rim, and credibly guard smaller forwards. I'm thinking 6'10 PF, def/sc or pm.
Like others have stated, i'd love more customization in my players and hate "fluff stats." On my current sc/pm, i'd love the option to give up some ball-handling for more 3-point. Or drop ankle breaker to gold or silver to boost dimer or defensive stopper. And why do i need to put points in post moves and blocking? I'm 6'4. I'm doing much of that.NBA: Wizards

And for all we know they could change everything this year and there won't be dual-archetypes.Comment

Shot creator primary, defending secondary; my whole issue is I didn't know what the hell a shot creator was until like two months ago, and I still don't know. Who in the real NBA are shot creators? Like what is it supposed to mean: that you create shots for yourself or others, or both?
