Last time I was heavy into MC was 2K16 so I'm a little behind, lol

Didn’t play a single game of MC last year and had 3 HoF badges playing nothing but pro am.

I'd do some combo of defending and post scoring.

Post scoring will give you the jump shot, without sacrificing strength. I know Glass Cleaners got a buff, but you'll be able hold your own on the boards w/o it

Im stuck between doing my tmac pure shot build or a kd sharpshooting shot creator build
I had both build this year but now with those shooting badges huge boost.

I'll probably make a post scorer/shot creator Center this year instead of shot creator/post scorer SG last year. But will see after opening night rosters drop

Need to see more of the differences between PG/SG and PF/C.

I wanted to move off playing PG, but still be able to set teammates up. If being a SG gives me access to some shooting badges, while still having PM in my build, i'll be real happy.

Re: Assuming archetypes are similar in 2k19, what you making?

So im hoping the prelude really clarifies some things for not just me but all of us.

Pros and cons of a sg vs sf same build, pg vs sg pf vs c etc.

Like I'm really liking that you get Hof badges without being a pure build..so that might make me rethink some things...

Still thinking sharpshooting shot creator..but idk if I wanna go like KD build again, 6'10 sf..or do a Kobe/mj/tmac and do 6'6/8 sg...and if I do that do I wanna switch to a play shot or a pure shot creator...idk..

Too many questions I can't answer till midnight lol

Seeing those badges for my Sharpshooting Shot Creator this year? Psh, I'm definitely making one again. This time, Catch and Shoot, Corner Specialist and Deep Range Deadeye are GOLD. Hell yeah!

I'll still be at SG (so I can guard 1-3), but I may go Pure LDD (want to terrorize overdribbling PGs). Although I'll check out the badges and stat caps for a LDD/Slasher or LDD/Sharp when the full game comes out.

I'm curious....how many here created builds that had no HOF badges. If you did create them how did they do up against players with HOF badges?

Also do you guys go only for builds with HOF badges? Is there even an edge for players with no HOF badges? For example extra speed or agility?

I did. Lock/sharp. No hof badges, but if you put in the work defensive the lack of hof badges didn't bother me too much after awhile. Was more bothered by the hit defensive attributes took by adding sharp; also not great shooting attributes. But I try to play within my build, so it worked fine for me.

They've really boosted Slashers/Athletic Finishers defense i.e a SF Pure Slasher in 18 only had Silver Chasedown Artist and Bronze Defensive Stopper, Chrarge Card, now it has Silver Defensive Stopper, Chasedown Artist, Charge Card, Pick Dodger, Pick Pocket.
