The ability to do a rematch from the end-game screen if you lost a match vs the CPU (if you have contracts) would be great. It sucks to have to go back to the main menu to get back into a match. Removing MT requirements from domination is another thing I'd like to see.

I'm not going to defend the defense in 2K19 because I haven't played it yet, but I do think using that Giannis play as "proof" that the game hasn't been fixed yet is a little presumptuous.

1. Horford is actually in the correct position. You can tell both on-screen, and in the pregame selection that he's guarding KAT, a very capable (42%) 3-point shooter. He's in the best spot to slide over and attempt to help on Giannis, or pop out and make sure KAT doesn't get a wide open three. If Tatum put any effort into getting in Giannis' way, then Horford would have had time for a decent help contest.

2. The real mishap here is Tatum. He has to prevent Giannis from getting to the cup unimpeded, but he he gets beat with the move and that's just money. He should have sagged off since Giannis is not a shooter and tried to slow down the drive.

3. The trailer is clearly manipulated (like all 2K trailers) to be geared toward offensive highlights. I don't think a lapse in defense in this scenario, where we don't even know the difficulty is a tell tale sign of anything. Everything we've heard from Devs and people who played early has pointed to defense being legit this year.

this small clip of 2k19 Al Horford's transition defense is exactly what he would have done in 2k18 even on Hall of Fame. So the counter argument of "we don't know what difficulty level" really doesn't work with me personally. It's on each and every single transition play on 2k18. If it consistently happens on 2k18 on the highest difficulty, I'm going to assume it's going to be in 2k19 IF it makes its appearance even one time in 2k19 because the same AI source code is used again.

Plus, it's all over all of the "leaked" real gameplay 2k19 clips -- and there's plenty on youtube. It's not just a 'marketing trailer' issue to highlight the offense.

Anthony Towns is still on the other side of the court. Horford is paying attention to the fans straddling the sideline. Serious inquiries, how would 2k manipulate Horford's defense ...
(1) so Horford runs to defend no one in the vicinity first and foremost?
(2) so Horford doesn't keep an eye on the ball handler?
(3) so Horford finally decides to chase after Giannis blows by Jayson Tatum?

This is a replica of what goes on consistently in 2k18's Hall of Fame transition get back defense.

All I know, is that if I was playing defense in real life, I wouldn't be doing what Al Horford would be doing.



My problem with Tatum is that he's missing the blow by defensive animation that was actually present in previous 2k. Tatum remains in that same defensive guard position.

The sad thing is most free to play games are less pay to win than NBA 2k. NBA 2k a yearly $60 series is very pay to win.

I can pay for the $100 legends edition and spend like $60 extra on VC during my time playing NBA 2k19 and I won't come close to teams where people are spending hundreds or more weekly on the game.

Sorry...but playing games where everyone on the court is a 90+ OVR rating isn't much fun or strategic for those of us who are SIM gamers and enjoy the freedom MyTeam provides.

I would think someone with the name "SimBaller" would appreciate that...just saying.

My problems are mainly 2 with the mode. I don't believe we will get rid of the overpowered cards so

1) difficulty level at MyTeam Online. Everything below superastar is UNACCEPTABLE. You already have a superstacked team, making it play oneasierlevelyou are actually rewarding the worst player

2) 5-out. Since the introduction of the 5-out in 2k17 noone in myteam played any other offensive scheme.

I am sad to say that if those 2 are not adressed I won't even buy the game. I played all Myteam versions and gotallthe rewards

In 2k17, it was bad, I stopped playing the game around January-Feb when I got the PD Duncan, still using the Sapphire Horry as bench PF
In 2k18 I didn't even played more than 10 online gameson my-team

I’m extremely jealous of the ultimate team squads mode in madden .it sold me and I haven’t bought madden in 10 years lol .

I would go crazy for this in 2k with my friends .
