    Completely agree.

I don't touch MyTeam either but the concept of Triple Threat sounds like a lot of fun and at the end of the day it's even more single player content which is just going above and beyond what's already on offer at this point.

I didn't expect the "real problem" with defense to be addressed.

What you noticed is probably completely overlooked by most seeing as how this is not a defensive trailer. I personally don't mind everyone else discussing about graphics because that's clear and visible.

More importantly, despite the video content, the first thing I was looking for was defense.

        Spoiler

As far as the art graphics are concerned, I am more inclined to believe it's a 2k decision by choice rather than any hardware limitation.

Anthony Davis NBA2k19 has some pretty short legs, just like he did in 2k18 and prior 2k releases. Davis is the player model that I look at to see if anything truly has been worked on limb length. From the footage in the MyTeam trailer, it appears his limb length will still be inaccurate.

The facial features look the same, but the sweat really does make the screenshots look more than they are.

I'm kind of disappointed in the 2K19 MyTeam news...

I'd rather not go on a extensive rant but Ill sum it up by saying that I feel as though MyTeam has become a mode catered to cheesers & streamers.

I still remember back in the day when they didn't have 99 OVR JR Smiths & 95+ OVR Jimmer Fredettes... You know ? Back when NBA players in MyTeam had somewhat realistic ratings instead of mythical over inflated nonsense ?

Y I am more concerned about the gameplay than the graphics stuff, to me, gameplay always comes first. To me, what is going to decide if I will be buying the game or not, are defensive improvements. And I am really curious too see if the cpu pick and roll defense has been touched / fixed. It was terrible in both 2k17 and 2k18, so it is going to be the thing I will be focusing the most in the prelude

I'm not going to defend the defense in 2K19 because I haven't played it yet, but I do think using that Giannis play as "proof" that the game hasn't been fixed yet is a little presumptuous.

                1. Horford is actually in the correct position. You can tell both on-screen, and in the pregame selection that he's guarding KAT, a very capable (42%) 3-point shooter. He's in the best spot to slide over and attempt to help on Giannis, or pop out and make sure KAT doesn't get a wide open three. If Tatum put any effort into getting in Giannis' way, then Horford would have had time for a decent help contest.

                2. The real mishap here is Tatum. He has to prevent Giannis from getting to the cup unimpeded, but he he gets beat with the move and that's just money. He should have sagged off since Giannis is not a shooter and tried to slow down the drive.

                3. The trailer is clearly manipulated (like all 2K trailers) to be geared toward offensive highlights. I don't think a lapse in defense in this scenario, where we don't even know the difficulty is a tell tale sign of anything. Everything we've heard from Devs and people who played early has pointed to defense being legit this year.

incredible how deep this game is... and it keeps getting better each year!

Can't wait to get my hands on the game.

Also, in terms of AD's proportions/dimensions, they are pretty close to real life. I did a comparison with some colored lines. If you account for the fact that AD is slumping a little in the MT screenshot, you can see the distances are almost identical. The issue is jersey and shorts size. His body looks so much smaller swimming in that baggy uniform

If they change the uniform size to be more modern, I think a lot of the issues we have with body proportions would be fixed, or at the very least, less obvious during gameplay

I'm not a MyTeam guy at all wish i was never been guess never will and i hope all these addons and changes are great for those who play the most of the mode. It seems that they put a whole lot work into the mode as well as other modes and as always props to devs for the effort.

My concern is i really didn't like the arms of the players in the trailer, i mean it's like every other player from Curry to Giannis have the same exact arms and muscle definitions, am i seeing correctly? And believe me i'm not a graphic guy at all i mostly don't care about graphics at all yet those arms looked real off to me.

Knee cap and shin area is not proportionally correct. Changing uniform size will not adjust limb length that is visually exposed. NBA 2k Anthony Davis doesn't have enough shin length. It's missing a rough estimate of 5 inches give or take, or whatever. Knee cap to the top of the white sock should be almost equal to the length of the sock to ankle.

But in 2k Davis, it's not equal. Knee cap to top of white sock is missing length.

Spoiler tag contains shin length estimated visual "measurement". Also notice the length of his forearm compared to his lower leg shin length. It's a comparative photograph versus 2k with shin length markings show a clearer picture of what's missing with 2k Davis.

One of these Davis' don't belong. Two of these Davis' lower leg length actually fits a big man, and looks 6'11" or close to 7 feet.

*(For reference, I simply copied and pasted your green line onto my "extended" limb length Davis. So I'm not actually drawing a new line; it's the same line length)* It's a bad microsoft windows paint job, but it's a rough estimate to show why 2k Davis is still proportionally incorrect.

If I knew how to put pics on here I was gonna say the same thing. Unlike 2K18, AD actually is built a little better, maybe not perfect but a tad better.

The blog lacks the real info we need to know. What difficulty are the modes.

For triple threat, how do we win? Is it 21 or quarters and what's the difficulty online/offline. And domination are there mt requirements? That was terrible with having to play a cheesy way and rack up points to meet the mt requirements.

For myteam unlimited are we matched on team overall? What's the difficulty and do players can penalized for using tanks at pg.

And tiered packs just sound like a VC move. Now pay more VC to guarantee a card in the packs.

I really hope myteam can be on superstar across the board. Last year on pro and all-star was terrible. I probably won't play this mode much with the way they are making cards that aren't even realistic now.
