I like being at the 4 as long as i have a C who is some what capable on the boards.

I mostly get matched up against stretch who if i hinder just enough would lead to an easy fast break bucket the other way.

Man i’m in love with my 6’9SF slashing post

Queued up solo in the rec, got 2 ama2’s and 2 ama1’s. Playing against all ama2’s

Dropped a 40bomb.
My matchup graded out, couldnt guard me and got shut down on the backend.

There’s just so many options to chose from you can be effective with.

Stats are worthless this year. Badges are the key. This build has gold diffshots and silver mid dead eye and silver catchnshoot... i went 3-3 from 3point range, i can shoot standing and fading middies, and i can postfade and posthop.

And i still get dunks and layups, pro contacts at 93 and elites at 95

Wish i had found this build from the start.

Damn, just had a look at the badges that build is absolutely insane. Can't believe you gt silver shooting badges with no shot creating or shooting in archetype.

This post is a little bit off the topic of pro am builds but is related to pro am, regarless gotta say this to speak out agaisnt some of the toxic bs im sure we've all seen while playing this game.

Im playing pro am with a few friends and some randoms and we beat we won a game, where i played pretty well. Important to note we are by no means try hards in fact we all have very mediocre records due to try to win while playing a sim style, hard to do often with randoms. Either way after the game i get a message "cherry picken bum" my response was you sholda been crashing boards hoe".
And this kid reported me after instigating by opening up with a disrespectful comment.

This guy was a pure stretch 4 who camped the 3 point line all game. Im a two way athletic finisher, my strategy was to play good d and be available for fastbreak outlet passes. That is literally what builds job is meant to do to contribute to a team. What else was i sopposed to do?

So I have been banned from any communication on xbox for responding, aint that some straight bull ****? Just figured Id voice some displeasure with the way that was handled here perhaps some of you have had similar experiences. Sorry for the long rant.

Yeah I definitely learned my lesson. I usually reply in a more calm and intelligent way and people usually change their tone. But now I'm just not replying.

Mlb the show is the game that got me to allow messages from only friends. In this game I'll just mute people. If I go into a rec game sometimes I'll mute everyone even if my sound is off, it bugs me to even see their mic icon lol

Besides, when people get on the mic to talk it's never to say anything except for some variation of "you ****ing idiot" or them being captain obvious hindsight

Got double barred on my slashing shot creator at 90. Im one upgrade away from contact dunks on him. With 10 silver badges 11 bronze and only relentless gold he's already a beast.

So I made my final character. I made a 6'1 shot creating sharp PG. Obv the size disadvantage is going to suck but he gets a 90 3 and an 80 dribbling. A 99 midrange with all gold shooting badges. I made him trae young size not becaus3 i like his game, but because I wanna be the perfect fit for Luka. Someone that can create for others ane himself.

Guy is gonna be deadly on offense.

Lol. It's been like that since 2k15 honestly. The 7' Small Forwards were the original demigods that could do it all. 6'7 PG's were GOATED in NBA 2k16. Maybe 2k will get it right eventually.

Yeah they did. While I’m happy about it, I kinda wish they had improved the logic rather than just buffing standing layups across the board. I’ll still see the game register my layup as heavily contested when the guy covering me is on the opposite side of the hoop. And I’m seeing guys sinking contested layups on me that really seem like bad shots. Like backing me to the edge of the paint and throwing up an awkward push layup that drops. My issue was more with missing open standing layups and lightly contested ones. Now it feels like everything is just dropping more. I’ll take it because it’s better than the alternative but I hope they dive deeper next year to improve the logic of what’s “contested” in the restricted area.

Finally closed my eyes and made a Stretch big. Not proud of it, but wanted to do it to mess around for the next couple of months in the JRC. Played a few MyCareer games as I grind some of the badges and with release 24, man it is easy to get perfect releases! What a difference!
