What's the Vertical on your Slashing Post Scorer? Mid 70's? Im asking because if i go 6'10 231lbs it get to 89 and if i go a bit lighter its 90 Vertical.
Plus the Vert and max wingspan would really help on blocks, dunks snd rebounds.

You’re making a PF or center?

If you’re making a PF you’d be able to guard 1-4 and most centers

If you’re going 6’10 as a center I’d probably make him taller

90 vertical would be crazzzy tho 🤔🔥

Im going Center because it gets Gold Rim Protector and Brickwall where the PF gets Silver, max wingspan is 7'10.5 which combined with the vertical should be more than enough. I was messing around in 18 with a CAP of what it would be like and got this block animation (max wingspan is quite a bit shorter in 18). I'm probably being optimistic but i might be able to occasionally block a shot thats at the top of the backboard heightwise.

Yo so I'm debating on my build. I'm debating between 6'4" and 6'3" for my slashing shot creator build point guard (Westbrook build).

6'4":

Speed - 89
Acceleration - 85
Wingspan - 6'8.3"
Shot Contest - 67

6'3":
Speed - 91
Acceleration - 85
Wingspan - 6'9.6"
Shot Contest - 71

Lateral quickness is the same. Shooting practically the same.

This year I am seriously considering a pure lock-down defender PG build. Think of Gary Payton (6'3" 180ish, normal wing-span)



I am still a bit gun-shy on whether I will be able to at least make shots when absolutely needed but for the first time in years, I feel pretty good about at least trying it for a long test-drive.


I don't think such a build will be an automatic discard.


Thoughts from anyone would be appreciated.

I haven’t had any issues on layups what’s your wingspan?

I noticed difficult shots doesn’t work with post fades so I’m curious how effective it’ll be for us

What’s your weight and speed?

I’m surprised how good this class is at rebounding and I feel like vertical is a noticeable difference this year

Wingspan is maxed. Weight 275. Speed 69 ( 5 bars left ) vert 65 ( 4 bars left )

But yeah relentless is only bronze . Some I’m the standing layups will get better for me . I can barely finish with little contest from guards .

The toughest part as a post scorer for me is the floor spacing . I get doubled and even tripled a ton .

Following up ,

How does everyone like their build so far ?

Awesome! Im staying offline for now, I didnt buy any additional VC so I only got up to a 75. Gonna wait til Ive got a couple more badges and at least 80 before I head out to the park/pro am.

As far as playing offline with the Rockets though i love it. Caught an off the backboard alleyoop from CP3 last game.

I was trying to do way too much on offense early, the difficulty jump up to all-star after the prelude took me a couple games to get used to, but its so awesome, i feel like a 2018 Odom/Garnett hybrid.

Edit: just got my capbreaker on dunks, tryna decide between the daryl dawkins, giannis, and ben simmons dunk packages - any impressions of those from anyone so far? Same as far as layup packages go, specifically gervin, long athlete & simmons.

Does going shot creating post scorer ruin the post scoring attributes too much?

I feel like the shot creator would give you that mid range game to at least stretch a little bit and play the high post if you want to mix it up.

Pure post scorers indeed have a more than decent mid range, it's the 3pt that is missing.


However I guess that floor spacing is more an issue when you have teammates who cannot spot up or have no idea how to be/move on the floor while you work on the block
